Sorry to hear about your flight...but at least you made it home safely.

I am in heaven with your last installment. I love Dancing with the Stars...especially Apolo and Joey! But, even more importantly, I can't wait for your next installment with Orlando and Johnny. When I was in CA, I got pics of of Johnny's star, his hand & footprints (in front of the Chinese Theater), and his home...but, it just doesn't add up to meeting him in person.

Great update! So cool about Apollo Anton Ohno! I him too! I've been a fan since the Salt Lake Olympics. So many people you got to meet! How cool!

It also sounds like it was a real endurance test waiting there all day, but that it was also sooo worth it! Can't wait for Johnny!

I am so glad you are enjoying my Trip Reports! Oh, I just love Boy Meets World! I bought the three seasons they put out on DVD, but now they aren't going to release anymore! I just love that show and even got paid to get the Disney Channel a few years back when I was in college just so I had Boy Meets World! Was the poster from Tiger Beat or Bop magazine!? Those were the days!

I am sure it was from one of those magazines. I think I spent all my baby sitting money on those mags and lip smackers. And every Friday night, we watched TGIF. Those were the days! I now watch the reruns of everything on cable all the time.

I can't wait to start posting my pics from California Adventure! We did see the Aladdin show and loved it! DH was amazed and said it was his favorite show that he has ever seen!

Oh my gosh you got to meet Apolo Ohno! You are so lucky! I just love him as well. When he finished his first olympics in 1998 he went on QVC with other athletes and sold pics and plaques and I got to speak to him when I ordered mine. They asked when I ordered my picture if I wanted a "chance" to talk with him but they couldnt promise anything since it's a live show. But sure enough I got to speak to him! I seriously was on cloud 9.

Sorry you had such a crummy flight. Glad you made it back safe! Ohhh Johnny and Orlando are in the next instalment I take it Can't wait!

I did! That is so cool that you talked to him on QVC! I love QVC and have been watching it since I was little with my Mom! What did you get to say to him? Were you able to record it!? Lucky you too! I've always wanted to call in and be able to talk live on QVC!

When we make our next trip out to CA, I am definitely going and finding Johnny's star! I have a picture here with his handprints that are out Planet Hollywood, but I must go see the ones at the Chinese Theatre! It's on my list! :yay

I really miss TGIF! You just weren't cool on Monday at school if you hadn't watched TGIF! It doesn't even exist anymore and neither do any of the good sitcoms like we use to have! Now, I have to watch all the reruns on ABC Family all the time! Sadly, it's still the best stuff on television! I remember the lip smackers too! I use to love the Dr. Pepper flavored chap stick!

Orlando Bloom!!!



We were all busy watching Jon Voight aka Angelina Jolie's father signing autographs and then we saw a huge entourage quickly walking down the red carpet. It was Orlando!!!

He was rushing down the red carpet and everyone was freaking out because we barely had time to get out cameras ready! He waved to all the fans, but I don't know why he was in such a rush. He had quite awhile to wait! It was so funny because in the video you can see that Jon Voight had no idea what was going on and everyone's attention quickly went to Orlando!

I was totally freaking out now because Johnny had to be next, right!? The crowd was growing restless and it was getting pretty dark outside at this point.



Then, we saw Gore Verbinski, the Director of all three "Pirates of the Caribbean" films! He appeared out of nowhere, but I was so thrilled to get to meet him! He was such a sweet guy!

We were standing there probably for another 15 minutes and we had another visit from Captain Jack Sparrow! I think he was just as excited as we were for Johnny Depp to arrive!

Captain Jack Sparrow hung around us for the entire time we were waiting for Johnny! I know he was just waiting to catch a glimpse!



Well...we waited...and waited...

It was getting colder and darker...

Johnny Depp!!!
Part 1




The moment was arriving and I couldn't believe it was almost here after all that time! I was going to see Johnny Depp! I was freaking out and my heart was pounding with anticipation!

Then, a man came down the red carpet and announced, "Johnny is on his way. Have your cameras ready!"

I could not compose myself at that point and we could finally see some commotion down the red carpet. The whole crowd was searching to see if we could see him in the madness. Then, I spotted him!!!


It was Johnny!!! I couldn't help, but to scream out, "John-eeee!!!" I was jumping up and down with excitement! He was finally here!



(Just so you know I captured some of these photos from my video camera, which why some of the photos are not as clear. I wanted to make sure to include as many "captured moments" as I could! Enjoy! )

He was slowly making his way down the red carpet and then there he was!!!

He was absolutely gorgeous, sweet, and sincere! He is just so wonderful to his fans and you can tell he really cares!

Then, Johnny was right in front of me!!! Literally, looking right at me!!! I couldn't believe it! I had my camera in one hand, but I was too busy looking into his eyes and he actually gestured at me! He waved just to me! It was the moment of a life time! DH couldn't believe it and turned to me, "He looked right at you! I swear I thought he was going to come over to you!" If only Johnny's handlers weren't around!

I was too busy connecting with Johnny in this moment and didn't want to ruin it with hiding behind my camera! So, I finally grabbed my camera to get the shot and Johnny had just turned when it went off! It was such an amazing moment and it was worth the entire day of waiting!

Part 2




Johnny kept running his fingers through his hair to pull it out of his face. Then, he would nod to the crowd and wave in the shy way he does. I was loving every minute of it and it was like my life was going in slow motion.

It was all a dream come true and I can't believe I actually saw Johnny Depp! It was so sad when he finally made his way out of our sight and continued down the red carpet. Awwwww....I just love this man!

I was so thrilled that I decided to go to Disneyland and I accomplished one of my dreams by seeing Johnny Depp!

Okay I am so addicted to your trippie that I actually stayed up to see if you were going to have Johnny on tonight. I cannot believe he actually waved to you! I would have crawled out of my skin or passed out. When I met Capt. Jack at disneyworld I was really nervous like I was meeting the real thing! I am so excited for you and I love your pics. It makes me love him even more because he is so thankful to his fans and so humble. I just love the way he puts his hands together and bows. You are so lucky to have seen this and thank you so much for sharing this with us so we could see this through your eyes.

Off Johnny topic did you try any character meals there? I was just wondering if they were any good. BTW my dh wanted to thank you because if there is another Pirate movie, we will be sharing pavement with you hopefully no roach motels though.

I did hear/read where they (Disney) really rushed him through and he was upset about it. He really enjoys meeting and greeting his fans and always takes the time to sign autographs and take pictures. I read where there was none of that and he didn't like it. Would you agree that he was rushed on through?

You are a very lucky girl. But you already knew that!

haha I love QVC too! Apolo was so nice in the minute I got to talk with him. I told him I was such a fan and I was so excited when he won his gold and that I watched all his events. He was so nice and he thanked me for watching and he would be working hard for his next olympics. I seriously almost died when they said I would be on!

Can't wait for more trippie....I gotta go get rid of these goosbumps now
