Thanks for posting that! I can't wait to ride POTC after the renovations. At first I was a little bit weary of them making changes to such a classic ride but after seeing that preview I think I'll like it just as much. They seem to be fairly subtle changes. And who could resist Johnny Depp? He's so !

Yes, that was Barbosa. They had a live red carpet special on E! and they talked about his added appearance to the ride

But Johnny - with the flip do - ummm...lemme fix it before ya know....
did he replace a blonde chick in the barrel? and I SOOOO hope they kept the "red head" part - as I am "the" red head ya know!

Oh my! the ride is fantastic! The differences are subtle - mostly the addition of Capt Jack and the curtain of Davy Jones that you ride through. We went on it twice yesterday (Tuesday) The first time was after early entry. Disneyland opened for early entry at 7 AM, instead of getting in line then, we rode a few things and got in line at 8 when they opened for the public and the line strted to move. We rode again in the evening - We got in line at 11 PM, and the line moved for about 10 minutes - and then it just stopped - we waited in line for 45 mins. We finally got on the ride after midnight! We were so glad to ride it again. The lines were so long all day!

Def worth the wait!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you soooooo much!!!!!!! I love what they did w/the ride ... didn't change it tons (from what I could see) but incorporated Jack into what they already have there!!!

I'd take the animatronic home w/me if I can't have the real Johnny/Jack!!!!!!

Cannot wait to ride this one in August!!!! Thanks a million trillion for posting it!

I was so bummed when this ride was closed down during our trip in March This is one of my favorite rides and I'm glad they didn't change any of the good parts.
