For all that could not get your free dining resort I have NEWS YOU MAY WANT!!

did you all know that some resorts have a minimum amount of time they want you to stay before releasing the room to you?? I did not know this

For example. I called and tried to add a day to my reservation and they said I could not. I knew the day was avalible because I checked that night 8/31 to 9/3 (had to put in three nights or so to get the computer to show me because of the 3 night min with free dining) online and it was avalible but for 9/27 - 9/1,the dates I needed it was not..... and mind you I was only trying to add one night 8/31 - 9/1 to my EXISTING reservation with free dining 9/27 - 8/31.

WEll I played with the numbers and was able to see avalibility for 8/27 - 9/5! If I did 8/27 - 9/4 only preferred rooms came up at pop, add one more night and you could get standard. The lady I was on the phone with said "well if they dont have it for 5 they wont for 10" I told her to try anyway! She said ok and did. Then said well it comes up but this resort requries a min stay!!! (maybe to get that weekend??)

WEll I changed my stay from 5 nights to ten and now I am going to call back and see if they can reduce the number of nights! wonder if the computer will allow that! I really hope so!

But for all those who cant get your resort, maybe if you add a night here or there you may be able to get what you want.

Well I just called back and they DID let me minimize the nights. So now for all those who could not get want you want . Play with the numbers and increase the nights on your reservation staying within the dates you want then call back and deduct them to go back to your original choice of nights!

Now my friends will be at pop 8/27 - 9/1!!!

oh ya...done this many times! I say half my trips had to be booked this way...I do such random nights!

I never knew this. I have read on here how people could not get the dates they wanted and was told it was because one day in the reservation was sold out so I assumed at first maybe the 31st was sold out, but it was not sold out as I was able to add it but only if I made my stay five nights longer.

I sure wish I saw it on here before but glad i finally figured it out.
