Inviting anyone to share with us something about their favorite cat. Only cat lovers asked to participate.

My cat sleeps most of the day. When someone comes to the house that she doesn't know, she hides under a bed or under a blanket.

prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

as I'm posting this, my cat (to whom I'm allergic to) has decided to plop her furry behind right on my laptop! (sigh)... kinda hard to type under all that fur.

My sweet kitty is a polydactyl cat. Meaning he has an extra toe on each of his front paws, so it looks like he's wearing mittens. He is super affectionate and follows me around like a puppy. (He does think he's a golden retriever, as we got him when he was very young and he immediately thought our dog was his Mama).:D

He's a lap kitty and we love him to pieces.:teeth:

My kitty, when she was homeless, saw me walking by and thought, "Now there's a sucker!" Came out from under a car, purring, rubbing, meowing, and then proceded to follow me home.

She is now very fat!

This will look like a novel!

Kitty: Old Timer. The oldest of all our cats. We've had him for 11 years.

Calico: Don't bug me cat. Fur like cotton and beautiful markings. We think she was feral and even after having her for 8 years, she will only come to you when SHE feels like it.

Mollie: Drama Queen. Sweet as can be but with a Siamese cry that always sounds like she's having a problem.

Tessie: Best Actress. What a talker! She actually sounds like she's making words. Ask her if she's beautiful and she says "I am!".

Rusty: Comedy is NOT my thing cat. Our orange tiger with the best purr but no sense of humor. I don't do catnip!

Jasper: Juvenile Deliquent Cat. One of our most playful cats but with a habit of "missing" the litter box.

April: I'm too Sexy... Sweet, beautiful, with amazing ice blue eyes.

Chester: Best Actor. Just hours away from being put to sleep, he is now the boss cat. Calm, loving and a great sense of humor.

Little Kitten: Handicat. Being almost totally blind, his greatest joy is to go outside with us and relish the smells.

Cleo: Mafia Cat. Her face reminds me of the cat in Pinnocheo but she likes to beat up all the other cats. Then she looks at you like, what did I do??

Cricket: Weight Watchers Cat. She has the most toes and the most interesting cry. She also is enormous.

Little Spooky: Home invasion Cat. She had her kittens in the most unusual spot...My Attic!

Prissy: Scardy Cat. My son's favorite cat but needs a course in martial arts.

Legs: Abused Cat. The sweetest cat in the house. He was given to us with a broken leg! :(

Buddy: Best comeback for a cat. He was nearly dead when we found him at only 4 weeks old.

Mom Cat: Most changed cat. Since we brought her in she's gone from being a wild beast to a love bug.

Wow, virgo, I thought I had a lot of cats with 3!

Gracie is the sweetest little girl. Everytime you lay down on the bed, she's right there cuddling and purring... except if you're my husband, then she is grooming! (she thinks it is her mission in life to groom the hair on his arms.)

Daniel LOVES damp terrycloth. After I get out of the shower every morning I have to sit down and hold him like a baby while petting under his chin until he falls asleep. Has he got me trained or what?

Bagheera always has to be touching one of his people even if it's just one paw. He likes to sit on the desk and put one paw on you while you're working. In bed, he's not content to stay on top of the covers but rather burrows down under so that he can be touching skin.

OMG Roberta!!! You sound like my step-sister. She lives in Hull and is heavily into rescuing cats. Picks up strays/ferals and has them spayed/neutered and then releases them if she can't find homes, other than hers!! Wow, your life must be something.

Anyway, my Bootsie has a very strange habit...he loves to lick plastic bags. He also will eat through a bag to get to the bread. Now, understand. We're not talking about Wonder Bread here. He only wants fresh bakery bread. We have to hide it in the microwave so he can't eat it. But it's the whole plastic bag licking thing that drives me nuts. Wonder why he does that.
He also loves scrunchies. We find them all over the house. Anything that has been in dd's hair is fair game for Bootsie. He also gets up on counters and knocks stuff down for the dog.

We also have Fluffy, who is just a nice cat. Sits on you lap, doesn't have any bad habits. Talks to you and gives you kisses.

Both are orange. But the Boots has a beautiful white chest and front paws, hence the Bootsie name.

Lisa, I think I've said this before, but your Daniel looks an awful lot like my Bootsie. So cute.

Aw, brag about my boys? You know I don't like to do that... :o

My Tycho is a great little bully. He was a stray for a year or so before we got him, so he knows what he's doing. He's obnoxiously loud and fiercely protective of his brother. When it's time for their afternoon naps, he will find Wedge, make sure he's OK, then go take his own nap.

My Wedge is my baby. I got him as a kitten and he loves no one else like his Momma. He's a big purring pillow for me, but scared of everyone else. He was found in a car engine, which damaged his face (ear and mouth), and I think his brain. He's not the brightest bulb in the apartment. But he has his brother to protect him!

I just got home for spring break lastnight and all my cats (we have 5 ) came running into the room.

This morning the oldest (my baby) came and sat right by my face purring with her paw over my hand.

I missed my babies!!!

Simba is the sweetest boy in the whole world. He follows me everywhere. He loves a belly rub! He loves to lay on my lap. He is very shy, he hides from everyone that comes over. He loves to chase his sister Cali, who was a very hungry stray cat, but she has a fat belly now!:teeth:

honey is my cat she is sweet to me not to anyone . she hides when we have company over she gaves me kisses on my face or hands. When i sneeze she do a meow. she plays with the new dog. honey likes to be in the bathroom when i take a bath

My Callie is a multicolored calico (she blends in perfectly with my daughter's leopard coverlet). She is a sweetie, but prefers me over everyone else in the house. She follows me around like a baby duckling with its momma and sleeps in my lap as long as I will hold her. Last year I went to WDW with my son for 16 days and left her at home with my daughter and my husband (my husband came for a few days but my daughter had to work). She cried, walked around aimlessly, and paced the house. My daughter said it was because she missed me. I got home and she immediately jumped into my lap and purred. My daughter was not happy because she had taken care of her and then the cat snubbed her. Hee Hee! :teeth:

I have 3 cats.
2 are Siamese and they are my house cats. One is named Peaches and the other Pyewacket (from movie Bell, Book and Candle)
Peaches is "afraidy cat", will run if some people get too close, but likes to be held like a baby, also likes to get under covers with me at night.
Pyewacket does thing on her terms, but loves to have her back scratched and belly rubbed.

Then there is Harlequin my book store cat, who "guards the store at night". She was a stray and needed a home, and Peaches and Pyewacket probably wouldn't agree with sharing theirs. So Harlequin works at out store. She LOVES people and they her. She has even converted a few "dog" people.

I Love::yes:: my cats

My 2 cats are brother and sister from the same litter. They are going to be 12 years old this summer and are inside cats.

BeBe (French for Baby)the boy is a BIG, FAT, LAZY cat who is long hair grey and white. He has to come to bed with me each night and once I'm just about asleep, he leaves. He licks my hair because he thinks I'm a cat who needs cleaning. He talks a lot and seems to be telling me stories of his day. I don't understand him but I pretend to. He's a big goof ball...

Moozer (no I did not name her that, my crazy college roommate did) is a short hair taby that looks like she has white eyeliner on. It took years once my roommate moved out and left her to me for her to get really close to me...Now she hardly ever leaves my side. Best thing...If you sneeze, she chirps like she is saying bless you. It's toooooo cute. She also hates my husband and even thought we have lived together for 4 years she still hisses at him until he gives her treats...She then is nice for 1 minute and hisses at him again. Funny girl. I thought her well...

Both have made my life HAPPY and I love them with all my heart. My DH says he knows he's number 2 in my life but have made peace with it...:hyper: They are the best. Meowww

Chopstick is a three year old blue point Siamese boy, and the biggest "people cat" ever. When I or my roommate get home from work, he greets us at the door and chats with us. He's a talker/yowler in general, like all Siamese, but the welcome home chat is really a conversation. He'll yap something, then wait for you to respond. He also does the "welcome home; RUB MY BELLY NOW!" flop over onto his side. Anyone silly enough to walk by him without obeying the RMBN order (e.g., if you're carrying four bags of groceries and need His Highness to wait two minutes), is immediately chastised.

Here is my cat doing what she does best-sleeping or resting

my cat:

Meows loudly for "mommy" when I am gone from the house.

Likes to chew curling ribbon.

Loves people. When people come over, she will greet them with her tail high and want to be petted.

My siamese, Sebastian, loves wet towels too! I'll often leave one lying around after my shower so that he can curl up on it and sleep, but then he always ends up with that kind of sour smell like an old towel. I call him sour kitty! :p

If he can't find a damp towel, he enjoys curling up in the bathroom sink for a nap. He's so silly!

We have 3 as well. Only wanted two but Max decided he did not like my sister errr her house *lol* and ended up moving in with us after 24 hours of "coming home". They are all from the same litter. Milo looks like both of her siblings but Max and Pepper look nothing alike.

MsMilo is a people cat. She loves people. Doesn't matter if it's kids or adults. She is right there IN your face. She has to sleep with us at night or if we're watching TV she is right there. Lately with me as she digs the down blanket I cover up with. But by far she is DH's cat. She is HAS to be around humans. She is a tortie siamese.

PepperAnne would be a good single cat home. She only comes around us if no other cats are around. Max and MsMilo picked on her from day one and still do. She is very cuddly and sweet but only when she wants to be. Her little mew is funny, you can barely hear her. She enjoys sleeping on my son's top bunk. I am still amazed she can get up there. She is a tortie.

Max is the brute. He is the biggest of the three. And he is THE biggest scardy cat. He does not like people unless he knows them WELL. He will hide. Sometimes under my bed, sometimes in the bathroom under the sinks LOL It's too funny. He is the talker. And can he tell stories!!
Just last night he slipped outside at some point (4th time in 2 years he's slipped outside  they are housecats unless we put them on their run) and at 7am he was talking outside my bedroom window. Apparently he knew I'd still be in bed some how. :p
Max is a seal point siamese.

All 3 like to sit on our shoulders as we sit or walk around...
