For a gay time at Disney...
Disney's announcement that it will permit same-sex couples to participate in its "Fairy Tale" wedding service surprised some Disney-philes. But not Jeffrey Epstein and Eddie Shapiro. As authors of the irreverent and informative Queens in the Kingdom: The Ultimate Gay & Lesbian Guide to the Disney Theme Parks (Avalon Travel Publishing, $17.95, out in May), the duo had lauded Disney's "inclusiveness" even before the policy change. Epstein, entertainment editor at Us Weekly, and Shapiro, a former director of AIDS Walks in New York and L.A., say they've been to the parks, oh, about 784,012 times, give or take a few, and wrote the book to support their habit. They give USA TODAY's Jayne Clark an insider's tour.
