FOP fast pass timing

Be at FoP at 6:15/6:10. You can check into Pizzari by 7:15. That gives you an hour for FoP.

We used our FP for FOP about the same time of day two weeks ago and the line and ride took less than 20 minutes. The regular queue time was around two hours, so we didn't know how long it would take, but it was fast. Enjoy, it's amazing!

A lot depends on if the ride has gone down during the day (which means more people come when it is eventually opened). I typically allow for 35 minutes from tapping in to leaving the gift store.

I think you will be fine. Enter the Fastpass queue in the 5 m8nutes early grace period. It took my family 35 minutes from scanning Fastpass until exiting queue. Here is another thread with similar question and various answers.

I'm guessing the time spread is 20-40 min. Sometimes loading goes really smooth, other times guests can have some issues, or the ride can have some issues, that slows things down.

You should be fine. One thing to consider is that you might be able to get your FP for FOP for an earlier time once you arrive at the parks.

Last November we rode 7 times with FP and the timing was consistently 35-45 minutes from entering the FP line to exiting the attraction.

Of course YMMV.

Not to hijack, but why does it take so long? Is it just because the standby wait is still so long, or is the ride a long one? Long pre-show? Obviously haven't rode it yet. Thanks!

I think it is multiple factors; it does have a pre-show which has to be loaded (the correct number of guests sought) and a second kind of mini-preshow, and then sometimes there are delays starting the actual ride, esp. if multiple guests have issues with the restraints or if the ride itself has an issue, add in the long standby line and I think that's probably why.
