They had an hour long show on the Steelerettes that I seen sometime ago. I didn't think they were around that long, but I guess they were. before my time anyhow. LOL For some reason I don't think they actually "cheered" all that time. Not that its really that big of a deal. thanks Alex for the link. I used their link to the Steelerettes email to ask them.

Well, Congrats to all you Panthers fans.

Having lived rightoutside PHilly for most of my life, I can say that while it would have been nice to go to the Superbowl, its much better to have a consistent teams who craps out b4 ever getting there.

Although 3 years in a row will be a bit hard for most of the city to take. They'll be crying in their beer for a month.

The Philadelphia press is just as bad as the city fans.

There's a reason for that. Most of our press grew up in or around Philly too. Its in the blood.

From what I can gather out of that they were actually Robert Morris College students.. I had never heard of them either just did a google search on Pittsburgh Steeler Cheerleaders

Carolina people are pretty laid back. This is all so new to us that I think we are all in awe right now and just cant believe we are actually going to the super bowl. After this I think most Panther fans will be supportive of them whether we win or lose because they have come so far so fast. At least I will.
