I hear ya! The Jets beat my Pats last weekend (and rightly so- the Pats played awful!) but the Jets still suck!

Saying a team "sucks" usually indicates they are not good, not that you don't like them. You don't like them because you are a Bears fan. I get that. But saying they "suck" is disingenuous. As an Eagles fan, I can rightly claim that THIS YEAR the Cowboys and Redskins both suck. But they both have Super Bowl wins, and the Eagles don't, so I can't convincing say "they always will".

Considering the fact that the Packers have the most championships (going back to the days before the merger), 3 Super Bowl rings, and are the first 6th seed NFC team to make the Super Bowl, I have a hard time with the idea that "they suck and always will".

The Lions, on the other hand, suck.

Yeah, I know the "backwards, un-refined, small town- backwoods" Packers beat you, but I guess you'll just have to get over it.

Yes, I believe there was a lot of snobbery involved (on the part of some fans) in the reaction to the Packers winning.
