While I understand that the menus may not be the same, I am travelling on the Fantasy this December and would love to hear about food you loved while cruising. Thanks for increasing my chance of food bliss !

I know there are a few similar threads floating around here. You may want to try a search as you'll find lots of responses from people already.

My favorites are the black truffle pasta purseittes in Animator's Palate, the breaded deep fried Brie in Royal Court, and the roasted rack of lamb in Royal Court.

On our recent Fantasy cruise there was a new appetizer on the Captains Gala menu (or at least new for us). Basically it was eggplant rollatini, however it was not called that. I believe the name was just a description something like, lightly breaded eggplant filled with ricotta cheese, topped with sauce and mozarella...something like that. This is something I enjoy very much at restaurants at home and this did not disappoint. I actually got 2!

I'm also a big fan of the prime rib in Enchanted Garden.

Beef tenderloin, French onion soup, jerk chicken salad, conch chowder, fajita's (pirate night buffet), Gran Marnier Soufflé, black truffle pasta, sea bass, cheese plate served with bread at dinner (i contact DCL and have a request put in before i ever get on board, works great!), post stickers, prime rib, potato leak soup, and a Mickey Bar every night!

I'm not really a foodie but on my first Disney cruise I was introduced to popcorn shrimp and since then I always make a special request with the head server to order popcorn shrimp as an appetizer for one maybe two of my meals in the MDR.

I just checked out the thread someone else had posted and have all the suggestions written down. I am feeling hungry already !!

The fried Brie at Royal Palace and any dessert!! Preferably, cheesecakes - mango, raspberry, etc. any of those. Yum!

Love the cheesecakes! Only issue I have - the flavored ones don't have enough actual fruit with them. I ordered a cherry cheesecake on my last cruise and it came with two measly cooked cherries on it. I asked for more and they brought me a whole bowl of cherries. Yumm..

Yes! I am usually a very bland, picky eater and didn't think I'd like the cheesecakes - but they were all delicious!!
