What food do you like that you're sure nobody else in the world but you like to eat?

For me, it's fresh cut rhubarb, peeled and salted.

I'm the only one on both sides of my family that enjoys raw fish, and therefore I love sushi.

Liver! I love mashed potatoes, fried liver with onions, and peas.. I love it so much that on the very, very rare occasion that I go out to eat, if it's on the menu, I order it..:goodvibes

I don't think NOBODY likes these, but very few :):

*Pickled eggs
*Raw cabbage hearts sprinkled with salt
*Sauerkraut by itself

I LOVE pickles and peanut butter. I know a lot of people who look at me crazy when I mention it, but everyone I know who has tried it told me they liked it. My friend in middle school is the one that convinced me to try it. I thought that the peanut butter and the pickle taste would come together to make a new WEIRD taste, but you can taste the sourness of the pickle and the peanut butter at the same time. It is hard to explain, but it's really good. If you like celery (or any other vegetable) and peanut butter you should try it.

I think that it has become more popular over the years, but I'd like to think I was a pioneer in mixing my tuna with salsa. :thumbsup2

We had rhubarb growing on our property when I was a kid - and then when I raised my own kids there - and we loved this! Unfortunately I can't eat it like that anymore - too acidy for my stomach..:(

Love sauerkraut too - but with this ridiculously sensitive stomach of mine, I can only eat a very small amount at a time..:goodvibes

Yum, used to eat that at home as a kid all the time. Nice and warm from the sun and a bowl of salt to "dunk" it in.

Ah, the simpler days when we could eat all those things that we wouldn't even think about now.

me too :thumbsup2

Well, being Asian, I've eaten some really raunchy food. I mean - waaay out there. Kimchi, anyone?

One of my favorite foods is kale, and NONE of my friends & family get it. I just love kale soup and I often make it for myself. It's a craving.

Another favorite is grilled spicy chicken gizzards. DH just shudders and looks away.....

NeverlandClub -- are you my mom? She loves all of the above and is especially disappointed that her daughter do not share her love of sauerkraut!

I do like pickled beets and eggs -- they are an Easter tradition at my parents' house.

Pickled or fried okra. (someone else can have my share of stewed okra)

:rotfl:I hope not! ;) Sauerkraut is so yummy but I tend not to eat very much of it when I'm in a relationship :).

I love pickled beets too (I pretty much enjoy any vegetable pickled). Unfortunately no one else in my family enjoys pickled eggs but that just means more for me when I make them. :cutie: One year for Christmas my parents gave me a HUGE jar of pickled eggs (with about 4 dozen eggs inside ).

I just had this for the first time a couple weeks ago. I like them. :thumbsup2 They are a nice change from plain old hard boiled eggs.

I like calamari (squid.)
I also like pigs feet (ham hocks.)

I love peanut butter and butter sandwiches. I have since I was little :goodvibes

My sister likes cream cheese and jelly sandwiches. The thought of that makes me sick!
