My sister and I are coming from England and not only will this be our first time in Disney World, it's our first time in America! We love food so I was hoping that you could suggest the best quick dine places to go to and what kind of food/snacks we should try. I've heard a lot about dole whip and I've always been intrigued by America's biscuits and gravy!

Dole Whip float
Mickey ice cream bar
Ice cream cookie sandwich
Cream cheese pretzel
Mickey pretzel w/ cheese
Nutella waffle w/ fruit
Churros
Caramel popcorn
Cronut
Turkey leg
Pot roast mac & cheese

In MK - Columbia house is great.
In EPCOT - any of the Countries - we love Mexico's quick service, the U.K.'s fish and chips (they are delicious), France's bakery, etc.
In AK - Flame Tree BBQ or Yak and Yeti.
Enjoy your first trip to Disney World and to America.

MK-
Funnel cakes with strawberries and whipped cream at Sleepy Hollow
Patriots Platter-all you care to eat-at Liberty Tree Tavern

Turkey Club sandwich and milk shake at Beaches & Cream
Fried chicken at House of Blues in Disney Springs

Thanks everyone for your replies! Eating lots of food is one of the things I'm most excited about! I'm going to have to compile a big list of everything I want to eat. I've always wanted to visit America and Disney/Universal so I'm so excited! :mickeyjum

The tye-dye cheesecake at Pop Century is a must-do for me every trip! If you can make it over there. Have fun!

All biscuits & gravy aren't created equal, so be picky. You want hot and fluffy biscuits with hot and flavorful gravy. Too often the roux isn't cooked well enough and the gravy is pasty, forget it if anything is cold :crazy2: I can't point you to anyplace that's consistent, unfortunately, and certainly not quick service. Off-site, maybe? Split a side order to see if you like it. Most places probably use a powdered mix.

My favorites are
Sorbet at L'Artisan des Glaces, France pavillon in Epcot
Tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbour House, Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom----lots of good things here.
Citrus swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace, Adventureland in MK

My kids would recommend
Waffle, nutella, fruit at Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square in MK
Cinnamon roll at Gaston's, Fantasyland in MK
Sorbet in France ;)
They're looking forward to beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks at Port Orleans French Quarter's food court. I'm skeptical.

Table service
Prosciutto/melon pizza and gelato at Via Napoli, Italy pavilion
Bread service at Sanaa, Kidani----you can get this in Sanaa's lounge to avoid making an ADR. Not on dining plan, though.

Rice Cream with strawberries at Kringala Bakery - Norway - Epcot
Via Napoli - Quattro Formaggi Pizza, Sangria - Italy - Epcot
Lasagna, Calamari, Cannoli - Tutto Italia - Italy - Epcot
Chicken Mole, Pollo a la rajas, Tostadas de tinga, - San Angel Inn - Mexico - Epcot
Vanilla or Chocolate Ice Cream (small booth selling crepes and ice cream outside Les Chefs) - France - Epcot
Ham and Cheese croissant, any desserts - Bakery - France - Epcot

for cheesecake to die for...
Almond Crusted Cheesecake at Narcoosee's - Grand Floridian Resort.

So much to try! I'm sure you will have a wonderful time.
