Food sensitivities

i know you can have special items made for you at WDW and they are very accommodating. But I wish there was a forum for food sensitivities/allergies/preferences. I hate to be high maintenance so if there was a forum where people could list already known items to be vegan/glutenfree/soy free/dairy free, this would be so helpful! Anyone know if this? Also, has anyone been to the vegan/gluten free bakery at Disney Springs? So excited about that!

Go look on the dining reviews board. Someone just posted her experiences with soy free and dairy free I believe. She may be able to give you additional advice as well.

I didn't really enjoy it. I'm not sure if they used bean flours or what. But everything had an aftertaste that I didn't like.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. My experience is just the opposite---everything I've ever gotten from there tastes like its non-vegan counterpart, to me. I especially love the cookie sandwiches!

I recommend checking out the Vegan Disney World blog as a starting point, that'll tick off two of those boxes. There's also a Veg Disney Facebook group where you may be able to ask around and see if anyone else is also soy and gluten free - I'm pretty sure I've seen posts along those lines recently.

Maybe it is because I am simply gluten free. I am not vegan or soy or anything else free. I just have Celiac.

Remember however that labels and ingredients and suppliers change all the time. If it is a true allergy, you need to ask every.single.time! That ice cream you saw as safe on a dining review last week may now have a different supplier and not longer be safe. Its one of the scariest parts of having an allergy child.
