I just got back from a great trip at WDW, and I have some "reviews of food" I'd like to share.
Liberty Tree Tavern: I enjoyed the lunch here, and it wasn't as crowded as dinner time. My husband and I had the William Pen Pasta, and it was really good. I think what made it so good was the bits of smoked bacon mixed throughout it.
The Brown Derby at MGM: My Brother in Law made us eat here. lol The menu is a little daunting , especially for meat and potato guys like my dh and dbil. Even I had some trouble finding something that looked appitizing to me, because it seemed like almost everything on the lunch menu was fish related.
My dh had the Portobello Mushroom, Chèvre Cheese Raviolo, which he didn't think he would like it, but said it wasn't that bad. My dbil had the Grilled New York Strip Steak, and he rather enjoyed it. I had the Thai noodle bowl, and while the noodles and vegis were really good, I did have one complaint about it. The coconut incrusted tofu wedge that came with it wasn't very appealing. I didn't like the very mushy texture of it at all, and I think it would have been better if it was either coconut covered seafood, chicken, or even a firmer tofu.
For snacks we had Lefse at the counter service in Norway, which I really enjoyed. At first I thought it tasted like a plain tortia, but then it got really sweet and buttery at the end.
At the counter service in China I had bubble tea, and I LOVED it. It tasted a little like chocolate milk.
And finally, I also had my first ever Turkey leg at the Launching Pad in MK. It was very good.
