Food Recommendations and itinerary help

Hello all

My 14 yo son and I be at Universal Thursday Feb 10th (around 10:30/11 am) Plan to perhaps start scoping out WWoHP?? or do you recommend just hitting US this afternoon??
My plans for lunch where to hit Nathan's Hot Dog stand?? (heard this place is really great)
Then Dinner: take the boat to Portofino Bay for Sal's Pizza

Friday Feb 11: Plan on hitting IOA for WWoHP early entry (staying onsite at HRH) we are staying club level so breakfast will be in the lounge.
Lunch: 3 Broomsticks?
Dinner: suggestions needed...perhaps NBA cafe?

Saturday Feb 12...being a Saturday, would this be a better day for US instead of IOA??? perhaps this will be a time to do repeats of favourites?

Lunch: recommendations needed/ perhaps Margharitaville
Dinner: recommendations needed.

What do you experts think??? we have never been to Universal so want to make the most of our 2 1/2 days that we can.

Thanks for suggestions/ideas (and I'm still holding out hope that I CAN do the FJ ride in WWoHP, we shall see how large my courage is when I get there, )

For one of your lunches have the volcano nachos as Margaritaville. Only one needed and you won't be able to finish it.

I'd go scope out IOA on the first day. I think the park will be pretty slow that day.

We love Sal's. After your pizza, get some gelato next door. It is so yummy.

Exactly what I was planning Damo! Any recommendations for the other questionable meals??

My son's favourite restaurant at the parks is Mythos. It is such a cool environment. Their pizza of the day is always good as are their burgers. Their smoothies are yummy too.

I would definitely eat at Three Broomsticks for a lunch or even a dinner.

Second Day Friday, Feb 11 Universal Studios
Lunch: Nathan's hot dog stand
Dinner: Mythos??

Third Day Sat. Feb 12
Hit IOA again
Lunch: 3 broomsticks again??? or is there somewhere else you'd recommend?
Dinner: NBA Cafe

Any other ideas??? Should I switch IOA to the Friday instead of the Sat??? (Do you think on a Friday there might be less crowds than Sat due to more locals coming in on a Saturday??)
