Hi Everyone,

In light of our upcoming trip I have 2 questions. 1). Can I go somewhere just to try a KOKO Puff @ the Polynesian? DH is much too fussy an eater to have dinner @ Ohana's.
2) What is a beignet? (have seen it posted before and have no idea of what this is but I know they have them @ PO-FQ).

Thanks All,

A beignet is a puff pastry usually covered in powdered sugar. You can slather it with honey or syrup, depending on your tastes. It's generally a sweet breakfast food, but some of us Down South will eat one anytime! Goes great with coffee, or if you are feeling fancy, cafe au lait.

The KoKo Puffs are out of this world! However, theydon't serve them at Ohana, they serve them at the Kona Cafe. Why don't you just stop in there one night for dessert and coffee? Kona Cafe is our favorite restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner - but we've just done dessert and coffee lots of times, too. It's wonderful!

Kona cafe will serve you only dessert if you like.

Thanks Everyone for the answers. I do believe I will get to try both after all. That was exactly what I was wondering if I could stop in for coffee and a koko puff before bed. Seeing as I have a huge chocolate fettish, I can't wait! I curious about the Beignet but not sure about which to choose the syrup or the honey. I guess I'll try the syrup first.

Thanks Again,
Lisa
