My daughter is having an escape wedding, and the person she spoke with said that she could not add appetizers for after the wedding and she suggested to eat at one of the disney restaurants. Does anyone have any suggestions on which restaurant would be great for after the wedding? Or what did you do for your escape wedding? Thanks for any help, Laura

What time of day is the ceremony? There are definitely more options for dinner than for lunch.

We're having a lunch at the Portobello Yacht Club.

either 230pm or 5pm. I know she really wants to have it at 5pm at the wedding pavillion. But I think there might be a problem with that time.

There could be a problem with that time...I don't think it's one of the times offered for Escape brides.

We chose to have our after wedding dinner at California Grill. It was disappointing because our palates are just not that sophisticated! We didn't have guests so we scheduled our dinner later in the evening after our 11:30am ceremony and cake/champagne reception.

If you look at THIS SITE you'll see a list of all the menus for the restaurants at WDW. This might help narrow down what is available for lunches or early dinners near the WP or at any other resort that you might like.

The paper work that was emailed to us said 230pm-330pm at the wedding pavillion and from 330pm to 4pm at keywest? not sure on that one, just glanced at it, but I am sure of the times. The people who are going are not used to gourmet food, although I love it. My mother had an idea of a buffet. Does that sound ok? And if that sounds ok, which one

Buffets aren't bad...and it does offer your guests a wide variety!
