Sorry guys, but the bandwidth has been exceeded on 2 photobucket accounts now and I just do not have the time to redo this a third time so the pics will show up again on the 29th when my account resets. :thumbsup2 I guess there are a ton of lookers who just don't post as this thread is not very long and these are pretty much the only photos I have posted anywhere from those accounts but yet they have gone through bandwidth on 2 accounts with just food pics. Crazy!! :confused3 I have done large trip reports and dining reviews at the same time after previous trips and NEVER gone over the bandwidth before. What is with THAT many lookers??!! :rotfl:

So let me try this again! :thumbsup2 I will start over for those who have not seen any pics yet but I will just do the pics and very quick reviews this time. ;) Sound good? Great! :thumbsup2

Hopefully these will help some of you who are having a hard time deciding on where to book your adr's. :goodvibes

We are all very picky eaters as I am sure you will be able to tell from the pictures. :rotfl:

Day 1

Breakfast at French Quarter...

IMG_9985.jpg

As always... :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 I did notice that you could not get these as a snack credit anymore for this larger sized order. We used 2 snacks to get this order.

Lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express...

WPE always gets :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 from us. It is such a great use of a counter service credit with much more choices than the burgers and fries you get everywhere else. The food is always great here!

Dinner at Kona Cafe...

We loved the bread and butter here but the steak was really really salty. Desserts were very good as well. :thumbsup2

Day 2

Lunch at Peco's Bill

Food was good here. I really enjoyed the chicken wrap that I had. It was HUGE though! :rotfl: :thumbsup2

I think we got about 10 of these during the trip if not more. :) They are great on a hot day. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

The kids were not too hungry during lunch but they wanted something later in the day so they split this turkey club and dessert from Capt Cook's.

IMG_0554.jpg

IMG_0557.jpg

We originally got them the cinn bun but it was really hard so we got the the cup cake instead.

IMG_0558.jpg

IMG_0559.jpg

They really enjoyed this. I could not resist a little taste of the sandwich and it was actually very good. I loved the bread it was on. :thumbsup2

Dinner was at 1900 Park Fare. I really enjoyed this meal. The step sisters are so in character and my ds6 loves them, esp Drizella. We laughed so much this night. It was a real hoot!

I took pics of the buffet line instead of the plates as I am not much of a fan of a bunch of food piled up on a plate. :confused3:rotfl:

WOOHOO, you're back!! I was enjoying your previous one...then poof. Bring on the pics!!! :thumbsup2

Day 3

Lunch at WPE again! ;)

IMG_0854.jpg

IMG_0856.jpg

I loved the chicken aioli pocket that I had. It was so fresh and nice to have something cold on a hot day. :thumbsup2

Snacks...

Can you tell we were hot this day?? :rotfl:

All were YUMMY!! :)

Dh thought the skillet was ok and I thought the pasta was ok (nothing bad just a little bland). The pecan pie was not good imo but I did enjoy the choc cake. :thumbsup2

Day 4

Lunch was at Chefs de France. I really enjoy having lunch here b/c it is so bright and cheerful. PLUS you gotta love that mac-n-cheese. :rotfl:

IMG_1305.jpg

IMG_1318.jpg

IMG_1319.jpg

IMG_1334.jpg

This was ALL really good! Loved every bit of it.

The last treat was Chef Remy coming to greet us. It was too cute and the kids really loved it.

IMG_1340.jpg

Since we split just the one lunch at Chefs this day dh was still a bit hungry so we got a QS meal at the Patisserie.

IMG_1368.jpg

IMG_1371.jpg

IMG_1372.jpg

IMG_1374.jpg

IMG_1375.jpg

I only had a small bite of the sandwich but I liked it and dh said it was really good. The fruit tart was good but huge! We could not eat it all. ;) We really enjoyed just sitting at the little table out here while we ate. It was very relaxing! :thumbsup2

Dinner was at Le Cellier...

IMG_1521.jpg

IMG_1527.jpg

IMG_1541.jpg

IMG_1543.jpg

All was good as usual but we were not impressed with the service on this night. She was very concerned with the large group next to us so we waited for everything this night.

When we got back to the resort on this night the kids were wanting something to eat so we got them some chicken tenders and fries which they ate before I was able to take a picture and a carrot cake for dessert which I think they had a bite each of and then never finished it. They seemed to enjoy it all though.

Day 5

QS lunch at Pizza Planet...

IMG_1745.jpg

IMG_1746.jpg

IMG_1747.jpg

This was ok. I have never been overly impressed with the QS options at HS but this is better than having to leave the park mid day to get something. :rotfl:

I have always wanted to eat at Sci-Fi but we have never seemed to be able to fit it in so I could not resist at least snapping some photos of the inside since I had to go to the bathroom over there while I was at the writters shop.

IMG_1788.jpg

IMG_1790.jpg

IMG_1792.jpg

IMG_1793.jpg

IMG_1795.jpg

The atmosphere looked like a lot of fun. I definitely would like to try it the next time we go. :thumbsup2

Snacks this day...

IMG_1780.jpg

I thought it was stale... I got popcorn last year and thought it was stale. Maybe I just don't like Disney popcorn?? :rotfl2: I know, how dare me...

IMG_1783.jpg

Dinner this night was at Boma...

We made a late adr thinking we would be at AK this day for the emh but we ended up at HS this day instead so we got here pretty early. It was going to be an hour or so before they could seat us and the boys were both wanting something to drink and eat so we took them over to The Mara to get them something. It was such a waste as they only drank the drinks and had a few bites of this but ah well! ;)

IMG_1923.jpg

IMG_1925.jpg

Finally to Boma. Dh and were looking forward to this as it was so great last year.

Again, I snapped some quick photos of the buffet instead of the plates.

and this was the plate they brought out to ds for his b-day.

IMG_1947.jpg

This was just ok this night. It was not anywhere near as good as it was last year. I know the offerings are different each night so I am sure this is why but we did not eat much at all here. I think I only even ate 1 zebra dome which is crazy for me. :rotfl:

fantastic reviews and photos......I have always wanted to see what sci fi looked like inside.......these photos are great.....thanks for taking the time to do this

Thanks for posting the buffet pics. I love seeing the food on the buffet line ;)

Happy to see that you are going to finish your reviews. :thumbsup2

BTW, I like that you took pics of the buffet lines, instead of just what was on your plate. :teeth:

Yes it is true, a picture is worth a million words. All of them have a similar trend, hungry, starving, mouth-drooling!! Glad your back!

Thanks so much guys! I am glad you are enjoying them.

Soooo.... Day 6

I wanted something to eat for lunch this day and could not figure out WHAT so I was strolling around thinking and snapped a few pics as I was browsing the Main Street Bakery. Shockingly enough I did not get anything to eat here... :rotfl:

IMG_2026.jpg

IMG_2027.jpg

We ended up at Cosmic Rays since there was a good variety of items to choose from.

Here were our choices. :thumbsup2

IMG_2048.jpg

IMG_2049.jpg

IMG_2051.jpg

IMG_2052.jpg

Everything was pretty good here and we really enjoyed it. The only thing we hated was trying to find a seat. I kid you not, there was not a seat anywhere in there. We waited a good 10 mins looking and waiting for something to open up. Crazy busy!!

For this night we had dinner booked at Raglan Road.

IMG_2199.jpg

We were really excited about this one as it is always one of our faves. I love the bread and butter pudding here.

We are seated fairly quickly and begin to look over the menu. We quickly realized that our 2 fave dishes were missing from the menu. The sirloin and the meat combo. We were quite annoyed over that. The waiter said they took those off the menu b/c they were the most expensive items and they needed to cut costs. NICE!!! :rolleyes1 Well, this totally changed our minds on eating here. Being the picky eaters we are the other items just were not looking too interesting to us.

So here we are not knowing what to do for dinner. I had really been wanting to try T-Rex so we decided to walk over and see if we could be seated. Yes! They had a table for us! :woohoo: I was so excited to get to try this place.

I snapped about a million pictures of the inside so prepare for a bit of an overload... ;)

Alright, on to some of the food.

We got ds this cool bone cup with a slushy in it. He thought it was the coolest thing!

IMG_2230.jpg

He wanted his fave... the kids mac-n-cheese plate. He finished it off and said it was great! :thumbsup2

IMG_2234.jpg

We also had the Tortellini with chicken and the chicken flatbread as well as an order of waffle fries.

IMG_2237.jpg

IMG_2239.jpg

IMG_2241.jpg

Everything here was AWESOME!! We loved the atmosphere, the food, the service, everything! We would definitely go back. It is a must try! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

After leaving I did have a little bit of a sweet tooth and I knew just what I wanted to try... a dohbar from Cookes of Dublin!

IMG_2261.jpg

I burnt my mouth with the first bite of this thing. OUCH!! It was scorched on the inside. I was not sure at first if I was going to like it but after a few bites I was hooked. :rotfl2: Very YUM! (just don't eat the whole thing right after dinner... :rolleyes1 )
