Thank you :goodvibes

It's pretty much what Ive been reading. I'm leary about Italy but my Mom enjoys Italian, I guess we'll take the chance. Hopefully we have a good experience. Its worth a shot!

I almost forgot that I had these. My wife and I took a trip alone in November and had to visit Italy as it was the most memorable of our meals during our honeymoon back in 1990.

I love this statue.

The Olive Oil was not special, we saw them pouring ColaVita into their bottles but the pickled peppers and vegetables were a nice touch.

The bread, however, was excellent.

The Affettati Misti was outstanding and I did sample a little before remembering to take the picture. At this point, I could have called it a meal, but wait, there’s more….

My wife opted for the veal meatballs for an appetizer. Wow. A sub roll and some cheese would make this rival any meatball sub I’ve ever had.

This was truly enough for us to eat. But we were on the deluxe meal plan so we just HAD to have more. My wife had Veal roast with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. I’ve never had a veal roast but I can’t wait to have it again.

I had Bucatini Gratinati – Pasta with prosciutto ham and peas in a parmesan cream sauce. It was good. Not great but good. And too filling. I did not eat it all. After all, dessert was still coming.

My wife had Tiramisu. Very, very good.

I had Profiteroles. I’m not sure what they call them there, the menu I have doesn’t have them. I don’t even know if they’re really Italian. I just know that they were messy, sweet and delicious.

That's it!

Crystal Palace lunch:

Chicken, luncheon meats and cheese, a crusty roll, green beans, meatballs, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes.
IMG_7843-1.jpg

Everything was good, especially the meatballs.

Bread pudding, chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies, boston cream pie/cake, and a lemon square.
IMG_7848-1.jpg

The boston cream pie/cake (?) was really good, and I love Disney's oatmeal raisin cookies. The lemon square was okay, and the bread pudding was okay but not nearly as good as what they serve at 'Ohana.

1900 Park Fare dinner:

Strawberry soup, chocolate mousse, some kind of tart, carrot cake, and key lime tart.
IMG_7812-1.jpg

The soup and mousse were yummy! The others I didn't care for.

Mashed potatoes, some kind of chicken, roast pork, prime rib, bread.
IMG_7800-1.jpg

The mashed potatoes were my favorite part of dinner, the chicken just wasn't a flavor I enjoyed, the pork was very dry (inedible), and the prime rib was fatty and full of gristle. My mom's slice of prime rib was good, she said, and she even went back for seconds. I didn't eat mine.

Chef Mickey's dinner:

Chicken nuggets, some kind of chicken, green beans with cowboy beans buried underneath, prime rib, mashed potatoes.
IMG_7364.jpg

The chicken was very good, perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned (it was something with lime). The prime rib was fatty. The mashed potatoes were to-die-for yummy! The chicken nuggets are okay, but I don't like them nearly as much as I used to like the 'old' chicken strips. I probably won't get them again.

Cheesecake, key lime tart, carrot cake, chocolate mickey dome head cake/thingy.
IMG_7367.jpg

The cheesecake was SO good, some of the best I've ever had I think. The key lime tart was a little too tart for me. The carrot cake was okay. I didn't like the mickey head, it was a little too bitter, but it was very cute.

Le Cellier lunch:

Mango-cranberry smoothie.
IMG_7390.jpg

It counted as our beverage. It was pretty good but I was tired of it by the time I got to the bottom of the glass.

Cup of cheese soup.
IMG_7391.jpg

A 'requirement' for dipping my breadsticks. I don't know how much of it I'd want to eat on its own, but with the breadsticks I could eat a quart.

New york strip steak with mashed potatoes subbed for the roasted yukon potatoes.
IMG_7392.jpg

I always get the filet and wanted to try something different. The strip steak was good, but I think I prefer the filet.

Beaches and Cream:

Fudge Mud Slide.
IMG_7475.jpg

DS 14 loved it.

Strawberry Shortcake.
IMG_7477.jpg

It was good, but not really anything special. I wish I'd have gotten the No Way Jose instead.

Mickey Mouse Sundae, I think, it was the dessert that came with DD's kids meal.
IMG_7476.jpg

This was the perfect size for DD6. (I had to pay extra for the hot fudge.)

Wolfgang Puck Express:

Spicy chicken pizza.
IMG_7485.jpg

YUM!

Meatball and parmesan pizza.
IMG_7486.jpg

YUM!

DD's kid's cheese pizza. (The same as the adult pizzas.)
IMG_7487.jpg

She loved it.

Spaghetti with tomato, basil (which my mom picked off, lol) and garlic.
IMG_7488.jpg

Mom said it was delicious. The portion size was sufficient, plus it came with salad and bread.

Creme brulee -- YUM! -- two packages of chocolate chip cookies, and a brownie.
IMG_7489.jpg

All of them were good, the creme brulee was delicious. DD6 got a dessert here as part of her kids meal.

This was definitely the best CS meal we had, and it was better than most of our TS meals as well. :goodvibes

Hollywood & Vine dinner:

Mashed potatoes, roasted pork, rice, chicken, mac and cheese, some kind of salads, meatballs, and a crusty roll.
IMG_7561.jpg

I really liked the mashed potatoes and meatballs, and the roll. The pork and rice were kind of dry, and the chicken was bland. Not terrible, just eh.

Strawberry shortcake, layered cookie, chocolate mousse, apple crisp.
IMG_7566.jpg

They were all okay. I liked the cookie best. The apple crisp needed more sugar.

DD wanted me to include a photo of her plate -- chicken, corn, penne pasta, meatballs, and chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce.
IMG_7562.jpg

She liked everything except the pasta. She even got seconds of the meatballs.

We did this as a Fantasmic package (we couldn't get an ADR at Mama M's). I wouldn't eat here otherwise. It was okay, but not good enough to pay what they charge without getting the F! seating tickets. However, we had our best Disney server ever this night! I think his name was Lam, or something like that. I'll have to go look at my receipt.

Boardwalk Bakery:

Mickey head cake.
IMG_7614.jpg

It was almost too cute to eat, and it tasted as good as it looked. These count as either a CS dessert or a snack on the DDP!

Hoop De Doo Review:

Salad.
IMG_7632.jpg

This was my mom's favorite salad. I'm not sure why, LOL. It was good, with just the right amount of dressing, but it was really just salad. She, however, ate pretty much the entire bucket of it herself. :rotfl:

BBQ ribs, chicken, cowboy beans, mashed potatoes.
IMG_7640.jpg

YUM x4!

Cornbread with honey butter.
IMG_7631.jpg

I preferred the old, regular bread. I'm not a fan of cornbread. My mom liked it though.

And for dessert... straw -- berry! short -- cake!
IMG_7646.jpg

We all liked it.

This one was a BIG hit. Of course the entertainment is fun, but my entire family found enough food they liked here to fill everyone up, and then some. This one ranked right up there with WPE on our favorites list. This was probably number one, with WPE being number 2.

Columbia Harbour House:

Fish and chicken combo, with apples instead of fries, water, and apple crisp for dessert.
IMG_7721.jpg

I think it's really more of an apple cobbler, or even apple pie, but they call it apple crisp. Whatever, it was really good. I love their fish here, but I really preferred the old chicken strips over the new nuggets. Next time I'll just get the fish. And for some reason Disney apples taste better than apples here at home. :rotfl:

I hope these help you somewhat I think these are all I took of kids meals!
