Question for which choice you guys would make. Our first park day is Sunday, 11-25-18. We are staying at All Star Movies. It will be me, 2 adult dds and my 15 year old nephew. There was an 8:15 am adr for the Plaza which I reserved. However I am trying to decide if it would be better to just eat at the food court at the hotel or keep the reservation. MK opening is currently listed at 9:00 am. Which would you do? Food Court and rope drop? Or the Plaza at 8:15?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I would probably just eat at the food court. A few years ago I booked a PPO breakfast on our first MK day, and while it gave us an advantage for PP, I think we missed a lot. We have the Plaza booked but we are going to be there on our arrival day for a few hours, so I think the family will not feel anxious sitting down for breakfast, but I would not have booked it if it was their first day.

Perhaps you can do what I have planned: ask them. We have a few meals that are in the air, but I booked becuase I was not sure I could get them again if I waited. We. have a family trip meeting coming up and this meal is one of the two I am questioning.

Depends how important Rope Drop is to you.
They will start letting people into the park to walk to the hub by 8:30. By the time you are done with your ADR, there will be a lot of people already around the hub, or worst case, if its after 9, the parks open and they are all in line.
You could show up early, about 8 and see if you can get seated sooner. That may give you enough time to make RD.
Personally, I would do breakfast at the food court.

If rope drop is important to you, I would eat at the food court. You can get so much done at rope drop.
