Hey there!

We're planning our son's first trip to WDW and can't wait to be there, even if it will be a bit strange to now travel as parents! I'm sure this Disney for Families forum will be more than useful!

Our son will be 10 months old when we'll travel and since we don't know yet how he will eat, we're thinking about bringing a mini food chopper with us.

You see me coming : because of the blades, are we able to bring that kind of item in the parks?

Thanks in advance!

I am guessing you are right because of the blades you will not be able to bring it in. There will be plenty of knives, real or plastic, that disney will provide that you will be able to cut the food with or you could also rip the food up with your fingers.

Also, it's probably easier to use a knife from a restaurant to cut the food since you won't have to worry about cleaning it after. I think bringing a food chopper would be too much of a hassle and not needed.

I don't think I ever used any other tools except spoons, knives, and forks with any of my kids.

One other note too: Use the baby care centers! While they probably don't have a food chopper (I will echo the others and say....we never took anything special in the parks for our LO, aside from some snacks for him, and we took him at 5 mo, 8 mo and 18 mo), but they are super helpful and accommodating if you DO need something and don't have it or can't think of where to get it.

remember that nothing can be warmed up in kitchen that is brought in with you. so if you do bring in with you plan on food that does not need warming
