Food/Beverages on a Firework Cruise?

Can you bring your own cooler on board a Firework cruise. I have one booked for Oct and asked about food & drink service. I was told that champagne for 4 was $58. The way it was explained to me by the CM is, that is a single glass of champagne for each of the 4 adults! That's a bit pricey for me. I don't mind paying $58, but not for a single glass. I'ld rather just bring a cooler for some Rum & cokes or wine coolers for the ladies.
Anyone have any experience with this?

We always bring a cooler on with refreshments when we do the illuminations cruise. Never had a problem.

We have an Illuminations cruise booked for Oct as well (on the Breathless) and I was told we could only order food from them....and that we should not bring our own on board. The CM did say that it is easier to set up/eat on the pontoon boats. I'll bet if you show up w/a small cooler though it won't be a big deal; I know I have read on these boards that people have brought their own beverages aboard w/o a problem.

They just mentioned to us that if we bring anything we should buy it from Disney property...the store at the hotel was fine.

We've brought beer and wine in the past. No problem.

ZuZugal - I was told that no food and/or beverages are allowed on the Breathless period - from either outside or inside Disney. It is allowed on the pontoon boats, however. Maybe someone else has some information about this?:boat:

We have the Breathless reserved for August 16th and were told the same thing. No outside food. They do provide dinner for 10 - 12 or passage only for 15 people

The Breathless only holds 7 passengers. The way it is set up, I don't know how they can serve dinner on it - it is just 3 rows of seats - not at all like the pontoon boats.

Sorry, I am speaking of the Grand 1, a 48 ft yacht sailing the seven seas lagoon. We booked this cruise during the wishes firework spectacular. We have the breathless an antique chris craft replica which will seat up to seven reserved in addition to a pontoon for our 15 member group to watch illuminations.
