I have decided to make a 2-day, 1-night excursion to WDW for my birthday in late-October. Originally, I wanted to simply attend the Food and Wine Festival, but I found out that there is a Mickey's Halloween Party the night that I am visiting.

Looking for suggestions. Should I focus on Food and Wine, or splurge and include the Halloween party?

I really enjoy EPCOT at night. But then again, I enjoy all the parks at night...and really like the "parties" at MK. It would be hard to go wrong with a day at F&W, MNSSHP that night, and another round of F&W the next day!

I love food and wine - so I would probably pick that. Epcot is so beautiful at night and you can't go wrong eating your way around the world.

I'd do both. MNHSSP is wonderful! And, I'm probably in then minority with this opinion but there's only so much food and wine to be consumed. ;) Need to save some room for CANDY.
Day 1: F&W at EPCOT
Night 1: MNSSHP
Day 2: half day at F&W (if you can swing it with departure time!)
