I’m taking the kids to Disneyland for the first time over the weekend of their spring break. I was wondering if it is feasible to do dinner on Saturday night at the food and wine festival or if the lines are going to be too long. When we were in Disney world last November, the lines at food and wine were epic on the weekends. Is that the same at Disneyland? Our back up option is a dinner reservation at Catal in Disney Springs.

Haven't been yet on a weekend to comment directly, but they got longish right after the kiosks opened at 10:30 on Monday. For the first time ever, I made use of their system to order food from multiple kiosks in one transaction. Worked like a charm and I would highly suggest it. You can wait for your item(s) at the original kiosk, then send somebody on to the next with the receipt while somebody else grabs a table. Or just keep the receipt until you are ready for the next items.

How does that work? I wasn’t aware of that in Disneyworld.

I don’t think it is a thing there…at least not that I noticed in November!

Simply tell the CM taking your order which items you want from each different kiosk. They can ring it all up on one receipt. As you pick up each item, the CM will mark that you’ve received it and return the receipt to you to take to the next window!
