Food and wine girls trip

We are planning a 40th birthday girls’ trip in the fall for epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. Would you stay at Beach Club or Boardwalk? Prices are exactly the same. We will have 2 days in the Park, and are only going to Epcot. We will also spend some time at Disney springs.
Where would you stay?

Beach Club all the way. Can't beat the walk to Epcot and the pool.

Boardwalk. And spend an evening at Jellyroll’s. It’s an easy walk back to your Boardwalk room after an evening there.

I've stayed at both and we did a girls trip at BWI. We enjoyed it and loved having a nightcap on the balcony at the Bellevue room nightly. Our only complaint was, at the time, there was no place for a TS breakfast. I think it's still that way - I know there's the Farewell Breakfast on the Boardwalk but I think that may be it.

If you're pool people though, BC is tops.

I’m leaning towards Beach Club. Now to present the options to our group. I hope no one suggests a moderate. Im really looking forward to being right at the back gate.

We are going to F&WF for the first time. What do you suggest for paying for what you will eat at the kiosks? I am a little leery of using my credit card all over the World (pun intended) and was wondering if there is an optional way to pay?

If not staying onsite, you can load up a Disney gift card. Some snack carts don't take GCs, I think, but the F&W kiosks all do. I just used my magic band and charged it to my on-site room.

Gift cards or cash. Bring both. There have been times when the charging system goes down and only cash can be accepted.

They sell a smaller version of gift card at various locations around Epcot. It is attached to a wristlet to make carrying it convenient. You can buy it with cash or credit card but cannot use a MB to purchase it. Buy it with the minimum load amount (it was $15 in 2018) and add it to your account at Disneygiftcard.com . Then just transfer funds from you other gift cards to it when you need more money for your purchases.
