We will be at WDW 9/28-10/2 Other than my ADR I've been a slacker on the planning. As I looked at the days I had assigned I realized we had Epcot down for 10/1 (Saturday)... and the Food and Wine Festival will be going on then.

We have 3 kids (3,5, and 8) and have 2 adult friends joining us that day only. Will Epcot be super crowded that day? Should I switch around days? Our dinner plans that night are Concourse Steakhouse so I don't think it matters what park we do.

Ugh... I'm so not a good planner...

Thanks!

I think I would change that. The first Saturday of the F&W festival is sure to draw some locals. Are you using the best days advice from www.touringplans.com (free- from the Unofficial Guide to WDW) or some other advice for which park which day?

Nope... I tell you I stink at the planning bit!!! I'm impressed I got ADRs made at 90 days.

I will go check out that link, thank you! I have the Passporter, but... well, I'll get on it now! Thank you!

Keep in mind it totally depends on what you want, and what your expectations are! If you want to see and eat something from the F&W, and that's the day, then you will know to be prepared for crowds, you will be prepared to get FP asap for Soarin, and Test Track and Mission Space (it will take time to get the FP - between hour or more between getting a new FP - read the first FP to see when you can get the next... and so on...)

If the F&W holds no interest for anyone in your party, then you can plan something else...

and its all relative - you're in DISNEY!! :wizard:

Hi! I'll be at EF&WF on Saturday Oct 2nd! Never been, I'm a first timer as well. I can't wait! I'll also be attending the MNSSHP on 9/30 for the 1st time. But the one thing EVERYONE is telling me is to not make PS for the night of the F&WF as we may all get very full from all the food all the vendors have to offer. So, we planned an early breakfast buffet for that morning and then plan on heading over to Epcot, getting on some of the attractions in Future World, and then over to WS for the rest of the day/night to enjoy all the wonderful foods and beverages from around the world... Eat, drink, and Be Merry! :drinking1

Hi another newbie here and I was hoping I could ask another question about the Food and Wine Festival. Could someone explain what happens at the festival, I read some posted info but I'm still a little lost...

Thanks
