Food and Wine fans... what are some items that you would NOT recommend?

Oh I just thought of one, I splurged on the Don Perignon and took one sip and threw it out. I'm not a huge champagne fan but can and do occasionally drink a glass of Korbel brut but I just wasn't feeling it and even though that sucker cost thirty something dollars, I wasn't going to drink something I just wasn't enjoying

Thing to remember about Dom is that its like the acid to the party. Its perfect for chips and salsa, say. (True Story) and it also is better with at least 20 years on it. You'd have been way better off with a $5 prosecco in Italy. : )

I try not to buy anything I could normally get in one of the restaurants, so no beer cheese soup in Canada for example. I think the filet in Canada is also ridiculously overpriced, and the Italy booth seems to be consistently crap year after year.

I actually do quite like the cocktails just to try something new, although I seem to remember some horrifying frozen purple concoction from a year or two that was awful. What was that?

Well since I never plan to waste money at Le Cellier again my only option for the soup is the Food and Wine Kiosk
