FOOD and WINE dates for 18 released yet?

I aplogize if there is a separate thread for Food and Wine, but couldn't find it. I know in the past, there used to be. Have rhe dates for Food and Wine 2018 been released yet? THANKS very much in advance as we are planning an October trip. Can't wait!

I was wondering the same thing. I just decided to go and mid-September was the only time that had availability at any of the resorts I wanted. I'm really hoping the F&W is going on, especially since I'm at an Epcot resort.

Just LOVE the Epcot Resorts, especially for F&W, so Convenient! Confused as to why Disney doesn't release the dates certainly by January 1st of the current year as most guests like to plan at least 9 months in advance? So EXCITED for F&W '18!

I don't know if I can mention this.. but a certain "PIRATE" has 8/31 as the beginning date on his calendar for 2018. September is not listed yet, so I have no idea if 8/31 is factual or not.
If it is, does the FOOD and WINE happen every day or just select days? We will be down there through 9/1 (depart on 9/2) so I'm hoping as this is something we have never done before.
I'm going to check other posts to learn more about this event as this would be all new to us.

Waiting for the dates..Can't wait. Once Food and Wine begins it is daily.

Last year was 8/31 to 11/13. And, yes, it is every day. We have been going every year since 2013. We are DVC and have to book 11 months out...for standard view BWV. So it would be nice if they would post the dates 11 months out. Definitely should be well before the 7 month window where folks can book non home resorts and everyone wants BWV or BCV. At any rate, back in 2013 the dates were 9/27 to 11/11 and they have been extending it little by little since then.

Unfortunate that we can't wait for them to announce the dates before we book-we just have to book at 11 months, then hope. Or in my case, who was dumb enough until 9 months, pray/hope HARD!!

I also wish we knew the concert line up in time to book our room. Had same couple singers and really hoping for something different this year. And would love one of my faves.

This is a question for those have been at Food and Wine in the past. How many people are usually there the first day?

I have never been the first day. But I've read that it doesn't get busy until Oct. Maybe due to the heat of Aug and Sept or maybe folks are just used to original dates being Oct to Nov.
