Food and Wine 2015...let's start daydreaming! updated! highlight video Post 1

Will they put out a list of dates and people hosting the $15 Culinary Seminars before the booking window opens?

This year will the be the first time I plan on attending the Eat to Beat Concert. I'll probably attend one of the later shows (6:45 or 8:00) -- any idea how early I should start lining up to get seats?

Really depends on the popularity of the performer(s) and where you want to sit! I've always found the back rows available close to starting time. If you want front seats then probably an hour before. One persons saves the seats, the rest forage for food and beer!

Thanks! That's good to know!

We are just weeks away from the F&W kickoff!! Who's booked a special event? I'm going to the wine demo on 9/27 at noon!!

I booked the Premium Package so we have the dessert party on 9/29 along with a culinary demo on 9/28. We even got our magic bands in the mail yesterday! can't wait!!! :jumping1:

We are scheduled to do the "Italian Regional Lunches" at Tutto Gusto on a Friday and then the next day we are attending "The Parisian Afternoon, Sandwiches, Macarons and Bubbles!" at Monsieur Paul. They look like fun events and will get us out of the heat for a bit.

No special events booked...but, this is my first time!!!! Hope they special surprises for the 20th anniversary!!!

No special events. Looking forward to getting the passport book and map. I need to look at the menus :)

We have the Rockin Burger Block Party on 9/25, The Premium package, Illuminations Dessert Party, Sampler Package & Bacon deminar on 9/28, And the Amanda Freitag Pork deminar on 10/3.

We have the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party booked on 10/4!! I've been reading mixed reviews.. some they had the flambe desserts at their party and others who say they saw nothing of the kind... so I'm very curious!!

When we went to the dessert party in may, there was nothing flambéed. We actually had a great time & loved it. Some of the desserts were ok (I'm not a dessert person), but we loved the view and the champagne/Prosecco.

It was just nice & relaxing and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. (We were actually thinking about booking it for the 4th too) :)

Just read on the Member Insider about Member Monday Cocktail. It said at Intermission Café at the Festival Welcome Center between 11am and 9PM, a specialty cocktail will be available for members and up to three guests. Two questions, do the three "GUESTS" have to be on your reservation:confused3 and is this free?:confused3 I assume that it is because it says "while supplies last". TIA!:goodvibes Can't WAIT for F&W!:woohoo:

I saw that too, and was also wondering if there was a cost.

BCV and BWV - 10/30 to 11/7

Yes, I will buy the cookbook, and some of the kitchen stuff they sell like potholders, towels, etc.

Also like to get a new F&W mug. My last one(15 year anniv) now has a crack so using it good side out for decor and dying to throw it out. I like the little man chef I guess.
