When is the Food and Wine for 2006. I've booked BWV from Nov 4th to the 12th am I going to make it. And what is the food and wine thing anyway??

When we were there in October we stumbled onto a Food Network pastry chef competition.

On the back page of the 2005 Food & Wine Festival Guide that we received this year, it states that the 2006 F&WF will run from September 29 through November 13, 2006.

Has it always been for such a long length of time? Did it always start in September? I am really hoping to get an Epcot DVC for the last 3 or 4 days of our two week vacation in October (already booked for 14 nights at Home Resort SSR) and am hoping that the length of the F & W may help me.

Love SSR but thought I could do all our Epcot things such as fantasmic and illuminations on the last few days. As I live in the UK I don't have to start phoning until 2.00 p.m. so have booked an afternoon off work at the seven month window. I am expecting to waitlist espeically as I am after a two bed.

we are booked in BWV nov 5th-12th, 1st time for the food and wine festival. I also think they have an art auction/event sometime in november, hoping that it is around the same time.
