Food Allergies on the Wish

Hi everyone, we are going to be booking our first DCL cruise (have cruise Royal Caribbean several times) and this will also be our daughters first ever cruise.

My oldest has a tree nut allergy (cashew and pistachio) and I am having a hard time finding info on how meals will work for her. I’m not worried about main dinning rooms. I have been able to find the allergy friendly menus they give guests and those are all fine.

I’m more interested in how Marceline Market and Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods will work for her? Haven’t been able to find info for this part.

For those other spots just ask for one of the food people there and they will be able to handle the restrictions.

When you go into Marceline after washing your hands there’s usually a cast member, let them know you have an allergy and they will get a supervisor who will help get food that is safe to eat. Usually they will walk the buffet with you and you say what you would like and then they will go in the back and check what’s safe and bring the food out to where you are sitting. Same for festival of foods let the cast member working there you have an allergy and they will get a supervisor who can help make sure you have safe options.

My daughter also has a tree nut allergy (and previously had egg and milk allergies she has thankfully outgrown). I’ve never had any problems finding safe food on a Disney cruise. The only thing we completely avoid is the hard ice cream shop. But obviously bring an epi pen just in case.

We've sailed on the Wish several times with kids with severe allergies. Like others have said, the supervisors will help you make an order. We've also had our head server in the main dining room ask us about breakfast in Marceline for the next day, and was working there, so she told us to come find her. When we did, she put in a HUGE order for breakfast, beyond what was requested and brought a whole mini buffet to our table, lol! Also, you can pre-order on the ship for Castaway Cay and they will have your allergy safe meal ready for you to pick up at an agreed upon time. They take such good care of you!
