This is a follow-up to the item lost in room #1105 at BW.
As you know I turned the item in to the lost and found at BW but, the story continues...
On Monday I recieved a call from Jan at lost and found and as it turns out our 19 month old DS had pushed four of our camcorder tapes into the VCR in our room. We didn't notice but the couple that had our room after us did. They tried to use the VCR and guess what? It wouldn't work! Thankfully we had labelled all our tapes and when they turned three of the tapes into lost and found Jan started calling everyone who had stayed in the room and thank the Lord got us. She told me she knew that whoever lost those tapes would be
heartbroken and she was right. Those tapes had everything from Jonathan's 1st days until now.
On Tuesday I recieved the three tapes. On Thursday Jan called again to tell me they had found another. Well, today I recieved that tape along with a BW photocard addressed to Jonathan with a picture of MM,MnM,DD,Pluto and Goofy all signed by the characters and a note that said, "Hope you enjoyed your visit with us!". Now wasn't that just the sweetest thing! Hooray for Jan! What a personal touch.

Now *there* is Disney magic!!

ohiominnie :p

It's exactly because of stories like yours and personal ones that I believe, good comes your way when you do good.

So happy for you...:D

Glad to hear someone else got Pixie Dust sprinkled on them this week from a DVC property!! That sure is what Disney is all about.....making people smile!!!!!!

So glad you recovered those special memories.... now make a copy of these tapes and store them in a safe deposit box, or at a relatives house!! We use 8mm to record then after the tape is full I copy to vhs and store the 8mm at my parents house.

I love the post card that they sent to your son.... ONLY Disney would do something like that.

What a very nice Disney moment.

Very fortunate. I no longer travel with any recorded tapes. I take the one in the cam & a blank. I don't know what I'd do if I lost those memories. I like the idea of storing the originals somewhere else. Maybe I'll finally get around to making those copies for my grandmother.
