WARNING: LOTS OF PICS BELOW

So today for the first time I show a moving subject (excluding my cats) and I had a great time. A co-worker asked me to tag along to get shots of the DD1 having her first fall experience at an orchard...picking apples and playing in the pumpkins. I took about 400 pictures in the 2.5 hours we were there, who ever knew photography could be so exhausting! :rotfl:

Here are a bunch of my favorite shots - any thoughts, feedback, constructive critiques, etc. are very appreciated!

*Note - none of these pictures are "posed"...she is just that much of a little ham :goodvibes

Great shots - and how fun! You did a really nice job - I bet the parents are really happy with what you got. :thumbsup2

Oh, that field of flowers(the 1st one) with the house (barn?) peeking behind is gorgeous! It my favorite by far. Beautiful little girl too, I like the first one the best.

You've got some great photos there. It's hard to pic from among them, but that first shot draws my eye, as does the third one, and the photo of the gorgeous field of red flowers and of course....
The Lab! LOL
Thanks so much for sharing. Hope you had fun!

I just sent them the link to the pix this morning. I work with the Dad and I know he loves them, he forwarded the link to the baby's Grandmother already...so we'll see what her reaction to them is. That'll probably be the final seal of approval :goodvibes

I think that might be my favorite picture also. I love all the pictures of the baby, but the dog, the cat and the wildflowers are pictures that I would consider printing out for my own use.

The lab was so cute and nice (and dirty!). There were three of them just laying around the farm, such a stark contrast to our Golden Retriever and Chocolate Lab who won't sit still no matter how hard you try (although they're only a little over a year old so I guess that can be the excuse).

Had a great time, I'm exhausted though. Between getting up at 6:30 on the weekend to meet them out, spending almost 3 hours constantly taking pictures and up and down and up and down and then staying up until 11:00 last night to edit/upload and cull the crap out...:faint:

You did a great job!!!!
I spent 2 hours last night with a family who has a 2-year-old and you got way more usable shots than I did.
Of the baby, the 2nd shot is my favorite and of the others, I like the next to last one, of the flowers and top of the barn. Just beautiful!

I'll tell you what, she was the best little "model." Of the 400 pictures I took, it was REALLY hard picking ones that weren't at least usable. For the most part, it was a matter of not wanting to give the parents a disc with 150 pictures on it...so I had to cull it down to around 75 or so, I thought that was an acceptable number. Plus - who REALLY wants to edit that many pictures in one sitting? NOT ME!!! :goodvibes

It was a lot of fun, I wanted practice and they wanted pictures so while I didn't get paid - I did get the experience and they also paid for the apples my DH and I picked while we were out...and a caramel apple too ;)
