Follow that Whale- Our Pre-trip Report!!

Hey Rose!

I followed over from the CF thread, great start to your report!!

Sounds like you've got just about everything covered, well except for the maps getting chewed up by the pups, silly dogs!:rotfl:

Can't wait to hear more!:cool1:

haha dont you worry about that, Im waiting for tomorrow..i have alot to write about especially the new finned addition..

Thurs, May 14- 6:00am wake up, have a quick Breakfast and Off to Discovery Cove -dolphin swim and a 3:30 Lunch date with Shamu (I cant wait for either). I am so going to get on the Manta coaster and also take in a 'Believe 'show or two!! Plus other fun things..which i will mention in a later report- well if i survive the day that is..lol)>>>>>>>>>

You plan on leaving DC to be at SW for the 3:30 Shamu Lunch? Why?

You get all the food you want to eat-basically breakfast, lunch, and snacks at DC included in the $190? ticket price. I wouldn't leave the park till they kick ya out! <g> There is a lot more to see and do there then just the dolphin swim. Then if not too tired head to SW for the evening. I think I would try to schedule the Shamu meal on your day at SW after you swim with the Belugas.

Lol I just changed the Reservations for Saturday at 3:30, Im tellin you everyone is bitting me butt on this.. you win..lol

*The reason is because its our anniversary.. we wanted to end our first day there extra special, but i guess the Manta and "Believe" shall do that for us.. Maybe I'll drop by the dolphin nursery and coo over the babies..

Have a great flight!

Can't wait to see your pics and updates :thumbsup2

Our countdown has started as well - we're at 9 days but first we have to get through a weekend of dance competition for my DD11!

I waved at your plane as you flew over NC! Did you see me? I was that tiny little speck screaming "Take me with you!" :lmao:

Hope your flight went well!

Honeybee I was wonderng what that was moving on land like a crazy person..lol*

Update here in Orlando: The flight was one of the most horrible flights I have ever taken, It wasnt the crew or anyone else, just the flight, there was a ton of turbulence. I was almost in tears at one point when the plane dropped I was trying to keep calm. And I survived the flight to Florida.

We got our rental car a Red ford focus and are staying in the howard johnsone, I had alittle pool time and had some funnel cake (yay)

Tomorrow Discovery Cove!! I cant wait!!

Just curious......How long did you stay at Discovery Cove? Did you get bored or did you find enough to do to spend most of the day there? Are you glad you changed your plans to be at SW early in the afternoon?

Thanks for sharing the great pics! What time does the park open? Was it crowded when you got there? Just asking as we are headed there in June. I hadn't thought about arriving there that early in the am.
