If trying to exit from FOLK quickly (in order to head over to the Pocahontas show) can someone recommend a preferred seating area at FOLK(ex. near a certain exit or something)?

Have never been to Animal Kingdom so please excuse silly questions!!

Well, the 3:00 show will exit from both sets of doors so just pick a seat near one of those sets. For the other shows, you'll exit out if the set of doors that is not the one you entered from. It's between the Warthog and Lion sections on the right as you enter.

I wouldn't waste my time going to see Pocohantas and her friends. We did this last year and it was really boring. My then 4 y/o said That's it? It was so lame I can't believe they still have that show. It is very hot too as there is nothing covering you from the sun beating down. We make it a point to skip this show every trip now.

Thanks for the info., but actually for our DD7 this is probably going to be a must see. Her nick name is "nature girl" and has been for years. She often tries to sneak into our house snakes, frogs, large insects, worms or anything else she has collected outside. She spends a l great deal of time in ditches around our property with a net and a bug container. She is looking forward to AK more then anything else at WDW.

If we were late arriving at the Pocahontas show (from FOLK) could we still get in to see it or is there some sort of barrier put up? Looking at the park map it looks like an outside show with bleacher seating but can't tell for sure.

Thanks again for all the AK tips tonight!!!!

Your DD sounds just like mine. She loves animals and has quite a collection going already at the age of 5. With that said, Pocohantas doesn't have many friends AT ALL. We were lucky to see a duck and a cat. This was a must see for my DD but she was quite upset after it was over. She thought it was a preshow and that the real one was going to start soon after! LOL! I guess after seeing the animal show at Universal, this show can't hold a candle to it. Good luck and I truly hope you see at least 3 "friends".

Your daughter sounds really great. Poor child, I hope she wasn't too upset about the show.

What about arriving late? I am just a little worried that if we leave FOLK we may be a couple of minutes late to see it. Do you think we could get in to see it if we were a couple of minutes late?
