Hi everyone... I hope you are having a magical :wizard: day so far.

Have any of you flown with Jet Blue? I wanted to fly Delta/Song, but I checked out the Jet Blue rates and they are about $144 while Delta's are about $291. I would prefer to save hundreds of $$ on flights and spend it while at WDW, but I want to make sure Jet Blue is a great and reliable airline before flying with them. Do they use the small planes? I don't understand how they keep their rates down so low. They say it's because they provide snacks instead of meals, could that really be it? Thanks!

I've never used JetBlue, but I always fly whatever is cheapest. It doesn't matter to me which one it is - I've had good & bad experiences with all the airlines.

I have flown JetBlue and loved it - I like having the TV and the nice bigger seats. I would fly them again without a problem

I also just flew Spirit - I always said I wouldn't fly them (don't like the name) I hate flying, but it was a great airline to fly.

I love Jetblue. I hadn't flown in over 30 years and flew Jetblue to NYC twice in 2004. I love the planes, the service, the prices, everything. We are scheduling a girls trip to NYC next year and I plan on flying Jetblue again.

Loved Jet Blue. I switched to them after Song left Newark. The only problem I have is that they don't post their fares far enough in advance for me. I like to book my Thanksgiving and Christmas flights in May, and I couldn't get Jet Blue fares that early.

Thank you....what is different about the JetBlue planes, as opposed to flying with a bigger airline like Continental or American?

I just saw the other replies.. thank you for all your help everyone, I am definitely thinking of flying with them now! I can always rely on the dis! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Have a magical day! :wizard:

We used Jet Blue out of Buffalo. It was not a small plane either. Didn't have any problems with them, they fly lot of planes out of JFK too.

BTW the blue chips they give as a snack are yummy and you can ask for more then one snack too. Our plane had sat. Tv too but you had to pay for the movie channels.

We flew for the first time in May on JetBlue. It was great! The staff was all so nice, the plane clean, seats very comfy and it was so great to have the TV. The kids got a kick out of it! It was also cool to watch the channel that showed where we were, what state we were flying over, how high we were and how fast we were going. Our plane left late but still arrived on time in Orlando!! They come around with drinks to choose from and snacks to choose from too. And you could have seconds or 2 bags if you wanted. DH loved the blue chips! ;) We paid alot less than the other airlines wanted at that time too. Everyone was very nice to us because DH was a wreck to fly and heavily medicated and I was taking care of the 2 kids, 7 and 3. They gave the kids their "wings" and they loved it! They were just so friendly.

My dad flys alot and will only fly JetBlue. His girlfriends brother is a pilot for Southwest and even when they go visit him(it could be free)my dad opts to pay and use JetBlue!! That's how much he loves the airline.

I can't say enough good things about JetBlue. They are my first choice. Their website is easy to navigate. You can pick your seat, pay for your ticket, and print your boarding pass on line. Their employees are cheerful and helpful. Planes are new and clean with leather seats and personal TV's. They use Airbus A320's on most routes and brand new Embraer RJ's on thinner routes. Add in their great rates and I can't see anyone using any other airline!

I've flown Jet Blue a couple of times now and highly recommend them. It's very similar to what Song was like except they do not give you the option of purchasing a meal. I think the flight I took to Orlando was a 737 -- 3 seats, aisle, 3 seats. :thumbsup2

We have flown with JetBlue numerous times and have always had a good experience. They serve a snack and a beverage on a flight to Florida...usually a bag of chips or cookies or nuts or something like that.

I have no problem recommending them.

Most Jet Blue flights are on Airbus A320. The A320 is a very typical mid-sized plane 150-ish seats with a single aisle 3x3 seating arrangement. They also use a few 100-seat Embraer 190's that are used for short-hop flights.

Great airline - financially strong - wonderful customer service and addictive TV's. Enjoy!

I fly a lot, and I always fly Jet Blue whenever possible. They're cheaper, better channel selections on the TV, have a ridiculously user-friendly website, and most importantly, are seemingly always ontime so I stay on schedule.

I just have to remember to pack a couple of power bars for the longer flights, but outside of that, consistantly the most comfortable and hassle-free airline I've flown.

I DESPISE flying...that being said I loved Jet Blue!!! We flew them our last trip...we arrove on both ends 30mins early! Baggage was quick. Service on the flight was amazing, one of the attendants had been an NYC firefighter and after 9/11 retired. It was my first flight in years and I was petrified (really really really really bad flight awhile back, since then I've driven everywhere) we hit some bad turbulence due to the hurricane off the coast of the carolina's...well I must have looked scared, he came over and talked to me.

Plus the tv's are a great distraction and there is something for everyone, even if it's the watch my trip feature. They also serve yummy snacks!

Flown Jet Blue to Denver and to Tampa many times...LOVE LOVE LOVE  this airline.

I always check Jet Blue first and foremost if I am traveling to see if I can take JB to where I am headed.

The staff is friendly, the planes are neat and clean, the tv's are awesome and the fares are ALWAYS great.

Will ALWAYS go Jet Blue each and every chance I can when flying.

OP, you have gotten all fabulous Posts!! Wow, that is amazing. It is so nice to have an airline out there that is just so "SKY TRAVEL FRIENDLY"!!!!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I just noticed that my flights to Orlando next month, are significantly lower than what we paid? I just call them up and tell them "hey, the fare is lower now, can I get credit?"

If I am flying someplace that Jet Blue flys you can bet that I will be using them, even if they are a little more expensive than an airline like southwest (I HATE HATE HATE the cattle call system they have)....Jet blue has bigger comfortable seats, TV's for every seat, free headphones and I have never had a problem with them!

So glad to read this post, since flying JetBlue for the first time in a few months! :wizard: Thank you for the reassurance! :wizard:
