I'm flying SW to WDW for a quickie solo weekend in October. (Thanks Ding!!) I'm using ME and would kindof like to see for myself how the luggage thing works.

However, like I said, it is a quickie weekend and I can take everything I need in a small roller that I would just carry on.

If I check my small roller, I would then need to carry a small bag for camera, etc. (and then because of possible ME luggage delays a few other neccessities).

So essentially, to utilize the ME luggage service, I'd have to lug an extra bag.

What do ya think??

I think you should try it because there may come a time where you will need to use DME. Consider this time a test to reassure yourself that DME works.

There will most definitely be a time in December where I'm using DME luggage service inbound to the max. Just not sure if I'm willing to lug the extra bag this time to test it.

Because of my airline choices and/or flight time choices, I doubt I'll ever be able to use the outbound service :-(

This trip I'm flying SW, my December trip, my Delta flight home leaves at 5:30 in the morning. :confused3

Really no reason to test DME, it works fine. Just bring your roller. Have a small bag. What you may want to check is what to do on your return flight. Sometimes their are skycaps and sometimes SW has a checkin area on level one.

Bring a small bag for your camera and other valubles and check your roller on your return flight. That's where you need test the system.
