Flying SW out of PHL

I have never flown from philly before and have a question I can't seem to find an answer for. I've noticed that the flight I"m going on always leaves from terminal D, but that the Southwest counter is in terminal E. My question is where do I check my luggage at? Do I have to check it in terminal E, and then walk over to terminal D to board my flight? Thanks to anyone who has an answer

I believe all the Southwest counters are in Terminal E, so if you check your luggage at the counter that's where you'll have to go. But if you want to use curbside you can probably go to D.

There is an indoor walkway if you need to walk from E to D.

You will have to check your luggage wherever the SouthWest Counter is.
They do have curb side check in so you can just drop off luggage there and walk into the terminal, go through security and then follow signs for your gate number.
