Hi

I have only flown once to NYC and that was several years ago. So I have a few questions on how to do this.

A few weeks ago the prices were much cheaper than they are now. We were looking at the dates of June 3 or 4 for about 6-7 days. We live very close to Greensboro but Raleigh and Charlotte are close too.

Will the flight fares go down? :)

Will they continue to rise? :(

Should I go ahead and book before they get higher? :confused3 I have looked on Expedia most recently.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Tell me about websites, carriers, deals, anything that would help.

We're flying out of G-boro in Dec. on Delta for $200. A few weeks ago it was $180. The past couple of years Delta had been around $240.

SWA is around $185 but I would have to drive to Raleigh. I assume it will be about the same in Dec. unless jet fuel goes up. Delta is trying to be more competitive with SWA for people in G-boro. It worked for me! :goodvibes

More then likely it will only go up. See the airlines sell a specific amount of seats on the plane and each "fare code" First delta starts at what they call a "T" fare. Once all the "T" fares sell, then it goes to a "U" fare and so on and so on. So basically it will only go up unless some sort of special is run.
