Flying out soon..... What will you be wearing to travel in?

I'm full of admiration for those of you who manage to travel in jeans. I find them unbearably uncomfortable at the best of times, let alone on a transatlantic flight. Maybe if I lost a pound or two... (OK, OK, a stone or two!)

My jeans are loose fitting, so they're very comfortable. I don't wear tight clothes - my mother, on the other hand, will squeeze herself into the smallest clothing that she can! It looks painful.

I travel in lightweight combat-type trousers (I think Next call them 'boarding' trousers or something similar) with a comfy t-shirt, a light fleece for the cold ends of the journey (UK) which I then stuff into my hand luggage in Orlando (makes a good pillow on the plane too). I usually have some kind of lightweight trainers on, like Sketchers sandals, or my Reebok trainers which I wore every day last visit, so comfy, so cool as they are mostly made from mesh!

I think on the way back last time I had black tracksuit type bottoms on. About the only thing which was still clean...

I wear jeans a lot at home, but find them a bit uncomfy to sit in for 8 hours.

DF I think had jeans on... can't really remember. I know he was HOT when we reached Orlando in whatever he had on.

I think I would dress for the heat, and just brave the cold in the UK, or wear lots of light layers that you can remove in MCO!

i just remembered why i prefer traveling in sandals - even though my trainers take up space in the luggage...

i hate having to put trainers back on at the security check....

last year, i wore my trainers on the way back (due to lack of luggage space), and then did that whole forehead slap thing when i got to security....how annoying!!

In 4 days (EPP) I'll end up wearing jeggings, a tshirt and my hoodie. I'm also a fan of wearing my bulkiest shoes which are my high tops and I always lossen the laces a little bit so I can just slide them off on the plane and going through security. In past years I have worn jeans, I wore them when we went in december just because it was freezing in Glasgow and then it was a bit chilly in florida. Just go for whatever you prefer to travel in and take into consideration the weather you are getting to on the other end ;)

I wear leggings, tunic top and ballerina pumps :thumbsup2
i like to look smart but casual, i dont do sportswear well at all or three quarter length.
im a shorts/trousers girl no middle ground for me! but i think wear what ur comfy in cause its a long flight!!!
for the kids i do shorts/combats with tshirt (with 'im going to wdw' or something like that designed by dis designers) and converse.
this convo makes me want to start packing and we're not going till december!!!! :santa:

I'm gonna go with a maxi dress and a cardie and sandals.

I wore leggings last time and ended up getting off the plane with baggy knee syndrome. I was also freeeeezing so i'm planning to use my dress as extra blanket sort of.

Usually linen trousers, t shirt and a hooded top with birkenstocks. Or a velour tracksuit - comfort is key!

DH wears shorts and t shirt and a zip up top.

DD t shirt and leggings and hooded top.
