Flying out of Charlottetown PEI?

Hello All,

We are going to WDW in April and our niece who lives in PEI wants to come along. For those of you that live there, what is the best way to go. We are in Toronto and it seems most flights come through here. We usually fly out of Buffalo. Is there a close US city she could fly from? The only direct flight I saw was from West jet and it was quite expensive.

We live in PEI and do usually route through Toronto. West Jet has just increased their service as well and will have some direct flights from Charlottetown to Orlando on Fridays until April I think. She could also fly out of Moncton or Halifax. The charters fly from there as well.

The closest US airport would be Bangor, which is probably a 5 to 6 hour drive. Moncton would be closer than Halifax. I am flying from Saint John to meet up with my daughter in Toronto before heading to Orlando. It is expensive to fly from the maritimes for some reason.

We scored some good flights and prices with Air Canada out of Fredericton We just booked last Thursday for Mid-March.

My daughter is flying out of Charlottetown on Westjet for $460 return on Dec 13th...one stop in Toronto...she is returning direct from Orlando on January 8th. We are driving. She booked online with STATRAVEL
