We are flying from Cardiff to Sanford on September the 11th this year. We originally planned to go on the 4th, but that plane was already fully- booked, so we decided to go the following week instead.
Whereas we are not in the least bit concerned about something like a terrorist attack physically involving us, we are however, apprehensive of the fact that following any conflict during the coming months, other passengers will decide to cancel their journey, - which in turn, might then affect our flight.

Is anyone else flying out on this day?

Hi Steve :)

Only a guess, but I reckon that people will decide whether or not to fly once events unfold over the next few weeks.

Since schools are back by then, it will be a low season anyway, but here's hopng that no-one has a reason not to fly.

I'll second that Shirley!
Also, - no doubt like a lot of others here, - I have savings currently tied to the FTSE's performance. The threat of war is causing great uncertainty and instability within the world markets, which is ultimately affecting us all at the moment, - whether we actually go to war or not.
Steve.

The FTSE is going to be down for a long time regardless of war, it will be a long time until it recovers but it will do, one day.
