Flying into Sanford! I have questions..

We got a REALLy good rate to fly into Sanford instead of MCO. We grabbed it up but now I worry...How much farther away is it? Is it a nice airport? Easy to navigate? What about ease of renting cars? Any and all info about this airport would be greatly appreciated!!
