Flying in very late to John Wayne, recommendations for 1 night hotel?

Have reservations for Disneyland Hotel but we will be flying into John Wayne around midnight and would like to stay one night near airport or Disneyland. Any recommendations for very reasonable place just for sleeping overnight?

When you wake up in the morning will you be heading to the park or are you doing other things that day? If you are going to the parks I would probably get a place close to the parks. Its only about 30 minutes from the airport- I would rather do that at night then in the morning when I'm in a hurry to get my day started! If you aren't in a hurry or are doing other things that first day then you can probably find a pretty good deal near the airport.

Have you thought about using priceline (name your own price) and using biddingfortravel.com? I know many people here have had great luck with getting good prices that way. If you're just driving directly to the DLH in the morning, then it might be a good way to go.

I'd call Howard Johnson's in a second for that (actually thinking of that for our next trip) and then walking our luggage over the next a.m. since it's so close.
