Flying in the dy before question

We booked our air through DCL, to arrive the day before. We could have flown in the same day, but didn't want to have the hassel in the morning (we did this on 2 previous cruises). Anyway, my brother and sister-in-law are going 3 weeks before us with their DS3 and are also flying in the day before. They got their documents and their day before flight is at 6:20 AM! Is it always this early the day before? DH works 3rd shift and thought he wouldn't have to miss this day, and I really don't want DD8 missing another day of school. We are on the 7 day, so flying in the day before is on a Friday. Can we requet a later flight? I called DCL but they said they would not know our flight time until 30 days before we leave.

Hi Bonnie,

I too am flying in a day early our next cruise (2003) I hated flying in the day of and being so exhausted for my first night onboard. I am actually excited to hear that we will be flying out early! We wanted to rent a car and spend some time in downtown Disney.

I was told by my travel agent there was no way DCL could promise any flight times. "Most likely would not be a red eye", but "could be at any time of the day on Friday".

If you can remember could you let me know what flight times you ended up with? Send me a PM if possible? Best of luck to you getting them changed.

Bonnie if you change your flights DCL will charge you an "air deviation fee" of $50 per ticket, just FYI.

I will let you know our flight times as soon as we find out. My brother-in-law's family has their flight times: 6:20 AM to leave the day before, with a layover in Charlotte (we fly out of Baltimore), and arriving at MCO around 10:10. Their flight for home leaves MCO at 1:30. But I will definitely let you know our flight times. I am going to call DCL at our 30 day mark, which is in 13 days, to find out.
