I really hope I can get some feed back on this .:surfweb:

I plan for the 6 of us to fly from Chicago to Orlando or else from Madison WI to Orlando ( seems the Madison flights are always more though) From 12/18-12/26 2007.

I am not sure if I missed all the discounted air fare or not. its been around 189-200.00 perperson.
Dh thought we should be able to get if for around 150 perperson. I noticed tonight when I did some searches that when I put in the info. the rate kept coming back to land in Tampa at like 150.00. I checked my info and I put for Orlando as i have for the past few weeks and this time i got flights landing in Tampa:mad: :sad2: . I am guessing the flights for Orlando are either full, or not on the list for low fare:confused3 .

I plan to use the tax return to get our air fare, so that should be here over next month.

When do the discounted air flights come out or did I miss them/. I don't want to wait to long and end up paying 300.0 a head , dh would cancel the trip first and plan it for after the first of the year before he pays that for 6 of us to get there.

ANY help on this entire finding flights would be great. we have Ding set up and Travelocity is set. shuld i call a regular agent or am I better of doing it on line?

Thanks in advance~ Stephanie:wizard:

Hi Digman6,
My family and I are flying out of Midway in Chicago in August on Southwest. I don't think they have released travel dates for Nov - Dec. yet. So I would keep checking and sign up for the DING that lets you know of specials and things. I can tell you for us flying out of Midway it was alot cheaper than flying out of Milwaukee, ( where we are from ). For the 4 of us the total was just over 800.00. I noticed you are near Iowa, have you check into flying out of Davenport? Good Luck planning! :hippie:

I do keep checking it but seems those larger airports are cheaper. The smaller ones are like 60-70$ more perticket and they stop in chicago anyhow!
I can drive to chicago for less and save 360$ for sure.

I like your idea I hope they drop to less them chicago but at this point does not look very good. I will check midway, I just kept looking at Ohare

I would think that the good fares have not come out yet. I usually watch Ding to fly Southwest out of Midway and I almost always can find some nice deal for the time I'm looking for :) Just keep watching - you'll get what you want! :)

Hi Digman6,
I have found American Airlines out of O'hare and Southwest out of Midway were the cheapest rates I could find so far. My husband didn't want to fly out of O'hare, and since we flew out of Midway before we just went with Southwest. Midway's airport is just so much smaller and easier to get around. I do know that Southwest has a internet special right now for 92.00 one way but that's for dates thru August. So keep checking I'm sure they will come out soon. Good Luck! :thumbsup2

PS: where are you located by Iowa? I only ask because we have a second home in Bellevue Ia.

We go to WDW every year, if at all possible, the week after Thanksgiving. I also have been checking airfares but it is still early. Just wait; sometimes they don't go down until about three months prior to your trip. We always seem to end up flying AA out of O'Hare. We are probably the odd ones; we prefer O'Hare to Midway.
