Flying Fish is a more upscale experience than Coral Reef.

Coral Reef is on the level of a good quality family seafood restaurant, maybe a little above a national chain.

We found the service and the quality of the food at Flying Fish to be way above that. Very professional serving staff, delicious food of the type where you want to savor every bite.

We just ate at CR recently and was not impressed by the quality of the food. The ability to sit next the living seas is unparelleled.

No question about it...FF to eat the fish, Coral Reef if you want to look at them!

Flying Fish! However, that's a Signature Dining so I don't really think it's a fair comparison to Coral Reef. I have had enjoyable meals at Coral Reef for lunch but dinner, not so much. For some reason their dinner menu seems very limited.

I've never been disappointed at the Flying Fish!

Flying Fish has better food by far. But you can't look at the fish, just eat them. Depends on if the food or the atmosphere is more important to you and your group.

We enjoy both but if forced to choose, we would select Flying Fish over Coral Reef.

They are both seafood places but it's unfair to compare them. Flying Fish is meant to be more of an upscale experience while Coral Reef is casual dining with a great view.

Coral Reef is not bad, but Flying Fish beats it by many miles if we are comparing the two.

Another vote here for FF. It is one of our favorites at WDW.

CR used to be on our "must do" list but has fallen to the "won't do for a while" list. We have found that the food and service have really gone down hill over the last few visits. It's not what it used to be.
