Flying down March 10 - CAN'T WAIT!!!

Sorry, just had to shout about it!!!!!!! My dd and I leave in just over 3 weeks and I can't wait to get back to WDW!!!!!!
We don't fly out of here until 6:45, getting there around 9:45 (PM, yuck)- any one have any ideas on what time we may actually end up at our resort?? POP, using Mears??????

We took Pop to Mears a year ago,always use the Mears shuttle,a good service.Well,let's look at it realistically.You're "supposed" to arrive in Orlando at 9:45,let's say you get your luggage and are ready to leave the airport by 10:30,assuming flight's not too late,and luggage comes right along.Then,you wait for the shuttle,and hopefully it'll come by 11,and usually take about 1/2 hour to get to the resort,so if I were a betting person (assuming flight isn't too late),I'd estimate your arrival time at Pop to be just before midnight,maybe 11:30 or so,and hopefully you'll be settled in your room by midnight.
That's my guesstimate!

That's kind of what I figured..... will make it tough to wake up early and get going with my dd5 the next morning - but that's ok - we have breakfast at the Castle at 10:40 and that's how we'll start our day!!!!!

If you are hungry, find some grub at the airport first. If you get to your resort late, it is likely that all the restaurants will be closed. We also took Mears to the CRB resort this past December. We left the airport at 10:30pm but the Mear van had to drop a few other guests to their resort first. I guess it depends on whether or not your resort is the closest to the airport. Our resort wasn't, so we got to our place at 11:45pm. Our little one was hungry so we ended up ordering pizza from Papa John's.

Good idea. I will probably do that, I know that the food court at POP closes at either 11 or 12, so we may not make it if my dd is hungry....
