Passengers also urged not to bring wrapped gifts
ASSOCIATED PRESS
WASHINGTON Transportation officials are advising travelers against bringing wrapped presents onto airplanes or packing their film in checked bags during the holiday season. The Transportation Security Administration is implementing a passenger education program to help move people efficiently through crowded airports during the holidays. Passengers may be asked to unwrap their presents during screening, and travelers should carry all film in their carry-on baggage, as equipment used to screen checked baggage will damage undeveloped film.
