Welcome, everyone. Come on in, maker yourself comfortable and enjoy the ride. I have a feeling it may be a bumpy ride. As the title suggests we are flying by the seat of our pants for the majority of this vacation, the only set plans we have is a beach day, and 2 meals.

This trip was supposed to happen last year, for my graduation from nursing school :cool1:, but due to budget constraints it did not happen. Which brings us to now.

When we originally started planning this trip it was going to be off site, my grandma, my mom, and my family. Now it's on site with my family, my mom and my niece.

My grandfather passed away January 2012. His last vacation was to WDW December 2010 with my family, my mom and my dad. I thought my grandma would want to go back, but it is too soon. Maybe next trip.

Once grandma told us she wasn't going we decided to price staying onsite. We are used to going in December so the price made me choke. Suddenly in my mailbox came a PIN code. Got the days off at work and contacted my travel agent.

The Plans:

Friday August 2nd- Leave Western Pa when mom gets home, drive till we pass out.

Saturday- Jacksonville Beach, stay in Jacksonville

Sunday- Check into All Star Music and other then 2 reservations no other plans.

Saturday- Check in to go home :(

3 adults, 2 Kids, 2 Room. Free quick service dining. 5 day park hoppers, plan on doing one waterpark.

Up next- will these plans stand and Meet the cast

When we originally planned this trip, we asked my sister if we could bring my niece along. My sister was getting ready to have a new baby and thought it would be a good break for her right before she went back to work. She said NO.

Then right after we had the trips paid off Dh and I talked about adding the water parks and more option because it was only 30 dollars more. One morning I get a text asking how much it would be to add my niece to moms reservation :rotfl: My sister changed her mind. Found out the cost. Contacted my travel agent and added both my niece and the water parks and more feature.

Other changes: Mom is going to try to only work a half day on the day we leave so we can get on the road earlier. After spending the day at Jacksonville beach on Saturday we are going to drive to Orlando and stay on I4 so we can check in earlier to WDW.

Now onto the cast

This is Scott my DH. Age 41. Went to Disney a few times as a child and now is the one to say lets go back in x amount of years and then change it to half the planned time. Favorite Character: Anything Star Wars or Stitch. Favorite Ride: Not sure, but Im guessing Star Tours or one of the roller coasters. Hates to get wet.

mom.jpg

My mommy. Carmen or Nana. Has instilled the Disney obsession to 2 generations so far. We are trying to talk her into DVC but no go so far. Her reasoning is she would rather sleep at a Value resort and spend money elsewhere. Favorite Character: Eeyore, Favorite Ride: Its a small world. :confused3

DD 9, Bradyn, aka B. My little adrenaline junkie. 4th trip to Disney. Favorite character Cinderella. Favorite ride; " they are all my favorites mom".. hoping they Yeti doesnt freak her out this year like it did on our last trip.
