Flying ATA into StPete/Tampa, is there just one airport or are there two?

Hey everybody!
My ATA flight in August takes me into St Pete/Tampa airport. Is there just one airport, like closer to Tampa? When I look at the map of the Tampa area, it looks like St. Pete could be about 1/2 hour away from the center of Tampa.
I also only see one airport symbol closer to Tampa on the map in that local, not two (like one closer to St Pete).
So if somebody would clarify this for me, that would be awesome!

There are two airports in the Tampa area. Tampa International is pretty much in the center of Tampa.

St. Pete/Tampa is one airport and is south of Tampa itself. It is a fairly small airport. I would say your half hour estimate is pretty close maybe about 20 minutes if you don't hit a lot of traffic.

At St. Petersburg, ATA flies in and out of the airport more commonly called St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport, not Tampa International. St. Petersburg-Clearwater is a smaller airport on the west side of Tampa Bay while Tampa International is on the east side of the bay. You follow I-275 to cross the bay and pick up I-4 to Orlando. It's only about 10 miles further from St. Pete-Clearwater than from Tampa International including the drive across the Howard Frankland Bridge on I-275. (The drive across this bridge is great in clear weather, but it can be somewhat disconcerting in heavy rain or fog. I'll never forget our trip in June, 2002 when we ran into a major storm just outside Tampa that continued all the way to our arrival at St. Pete Beach where we encountered a water spout that flooded the streets with a foot of water.)
